  • Great Hymn and you have playing is awesome....

    FULL 5 *****.......

  • Cheers!

  • Beautiful rendition of the hymn. It needs to be played well and it was.

It reminded me of my time in Swansea, from 1966-1996 and made me cry for long separation from former (Baptist) church friends friends therein.

All Saints is the last landmark of the largely pedestrianised path from Langland Corner (via Overland Road), to the Mumbles Seafront. This is (or was) a walk that took you through the old and winding world of Mumbles; how true that still is, I no longer know.

  • Thanks Very Much For The Comments Really Appreciated.

  • Simply Superb. I loved It

  • Excellent. You are a wonderful organist.

  • I'm Amazed! *Blush Blush*!

  • The tempo was just fine and singable. But, I do agree on the regestrations. I would make it a bit more subtle.

  • Well never say never! :-)

  • Rich. Lovely.

  • Thanks Very Much!

  • Excellent video's. Really given me some inspiration.

  • Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed.

  • ?????

  • This is pure beauty! Listening to You makes dreary days at the office easier to endure. Thank You so much!!

  • Thank you - keep your eyes open for a new batch coming in the next few days or so! ;-)

  • Absolutely brilliant! Such a magnificent rendition of this wonderful hymn! The variation on the last stanza is amazing! Very Church of England! Where do you learn to do that sort of thing?

  • Well I learn't the organ from a young age and some of it now is self thought.

  • This is wonderful. It brings tears to my eyes. It's so good to see a young person playing the pipe organ with such skill. I'm guessing that this is an Episcopal or Anglican Church, correct? What is the name of it and where is it located?

  • Hi Thanks

    For your comments.

Nope this is a Church in Wales Building its at All Saints Church in Swansea. You can find the history and specifications by going on the National Pipe Organ Register and typing in "Oystermouth"

    Thanks

  • Absolutly fantastic!! I really love the way you play this!! I wish I could play it as well as you!! Thanks for sharing with us all :)

    Paul

  • Your Welcome! :-)

  • AWESOME Sound, as usual GREAT PERFORMANCE - thanks for sharing. Lance

  • Thanks Lance hope your well.

    Regards

    Rob

  • great!!!

  • Thanks!!

  • The way you play this one is quite inspiring. I usually don't think of this hymn being played with such a full organ sound. To me it is a more contemplative type hymn. That is the fun of YouTube; seeing how others do things.

  • Thank you buddy, quite right as you say to see how others play things, also on different organs!

  • :-) hehehe

  • beautiful!! needs a brass quintet with it! haha :)
