It's unbelievable that I have finally found this song which once helped me pass many empty years. It still pops up once in while while walking down memory lane so it's great to be able to listen to it in real, beautifully sung!

It is a small world ! The only time I met Don Choi was 1970 a huge concert in HK government soccer court including, Sam Hui,Chan Mei Ling etc.(Not like today, that concert was free) Later on after 30 years, Don was my neighbor in Toronto and Michael Remedios is in Vancouver. I heard he is a auto mechanic now. Michael most famous song was " What make you run ".
There were two singers in Mystics, Michael Remedios and Don Choi. The song "One Day" was sung by Don, and of course the original singer of "One Day" was by John Rowles.
I always thought John Rowles was dead because I heard about his tragic death years ago. I am now very puzzled. Is he dead or is he still alive, as redtea123 wrote here. I was also a Star Show fan in the late 60's. I couldn't believe that almost 40 years have passed. I wonder if anyone remembers seeing a group called The Living Set? And what about The Magic Carpet? Does anyone know their whereabouts? I'd like to wish Joe Junior a very successful concert in HK.
Yes, I remember this song and the name of the lead singer --- Ronald Leung. It's a shame that these groups are not remembered by that many people. They were a part of the history of HK's pop music scene but very few people of my generation remember them and hardly anyone younger than I have heard of them. I'm glad you still keep their records. Maybe you could try uploading Follow Me Follow on YouTube with some photos of the group (if you have any) or just photos of old Hong Kong.
Yes, I think it's Tony Tsang. He was quite cute-looking as a young man. I don't know the others. Zoundcracker, how come you know so much about the groups of that period and you've got so many of their records? Did you work in the music industry? Do you remember Ronald Leong of the Living Set? He was the singer and the drummer?
A lot of us who live in San Francisco Bay Area know John Lee. He is a financial planner and performs singing in various functions and parties. He once played bass for Magic Carpet but he was not the lead singer.

Growing up as a young boy in HK, this song made a big impression on me. It took me years to find it, but I knew I would hear it again....one day.
Thankyou.
Jack Chan.

And with this hand, I would touch your face
And when you used to cry
In these two arms, you'd lie with me
But now I have to face
Empty years, all the worries, all the fears
With a broken heart, let's trying to stop the tears

Last night i made a mistake on John Rowles,he is now living in New Zealand and he's still on stages in Australia Casino.

I heard this song at Star Show 1967 sung by
Peter Chow a racing driver whom won the production car race in Macau in a ALFA GTA.
The original singer of this song is John Rowles of New Zealand, sadly he died in a plane crash.I never know MYSTICS had performed this song.
