You have *NO* idea what are you talking about. SG-1 should have ended with defeat of Go'auld and instead of Ori, give additional 2-3 seasons to Atlantis (with more SG-1 accents) and SG Universe Movie would be great wrap up for the entire franchise after 4+ seasons.

@AnteyPL Yes I do! SGU will never get a movie the show had horrible ratings.Second of all if any of the shows get a movie it will be Alantis! THey didnt end the show! SG1 was a great show and I loved the ending to it!!!!! Sad to see it go but it was the best show ever!

this show looked like it had potential, but it failed miserably. the first season shouldve focused on action a bit more than getting to know the charachters.(it put me to sleep) because of that i lost interest real quick, i bet im not the only one. plus it strayed too far from the formula of the other stargate series. se la vie

@ChemicalMikeUK It didnt help with the huge midseason breaks either. A few of the television shows havent made it because of the networks(or cable) give these large breaks and then dont give enough promotional work to remind people the show is coming back on so they get cancelled. The same happened with Caprica.

The show didn't fail miserably. The show by its second season was a better product than the previous Stargate shows. And at least it took risks. I'll never fault a show that tries to stray away from a previous formula rather than play it safe and copy it (ala SGA).

As an Astronomy major who actually knows what a class O star is, I think I was probably the only one that ever watched this and freaked out when they said they were gonna fly into a blue supergiant. lol.... frackin' psycho.

they should definatly continue stargate. they are really making a huge error in judgement in canceling it. instead of doing whats profitable, do what people like and then they will reward you with ratings. what they scifi channel is doing now only appeals to people for a moment and then its gone, i give it 5-10 years tops. all the stargates put together is 16.5 years. approx. and then add BSG and you get 21.5 years approx. its sad to see them go. after SGU ill never watch scifi again. GO SGU!!!
