Elantra is not the best car in the world. It is not made to provide strong acceleration. It doesn't have the best sound system in the world, it doesn;t have the most luxurious interior... but who gives a shit ???

The buyers of this car will find everything they need and expect from a small class commuter.

This will not be my primary car.... but will i buy it for a secondary car YES YES YES.

same here, it didnt have the sunroof, spoler, rims, turbo, like the CTS V..... BUT!!!!! it gets 33mpg unlike the CTS V

I bought mine on December 2007 for $15,500 US dollars (Manual transmission). It has the digital climate control, 1.6 liters engine, dual airbags, ABS, but it doesn't have the rear disk brakes, seat airbags, optional 2.0 liters engine and worst part no sunroof top. But overall is a good car.

HEY GUYS THIS CAR IS CHEEP IN AUSTRALIA it has ABS And

The safety is big on the Elantra it has ABS ESP-ESC EBD and Traction control, 6 Airbags As standard, Keyless entry and 5 Star Safety In Front Impact, 4 Star on the side and a 4 star on rollover only on the 2008 Model! the 2007 model only has dual airbags, 3 Star rating still it has ABS but no ESP ( 2007 Model )

This car is cheap in AMERICA too, and a great value. The Cobalt, Focus, and Corolla can't waive a fist at how much more comfortable, well equipped and reliable this new Elantra is. Good job Hyundai.

I bet the digital display is for automatic climate control which the US spec model doesn't have. Why? I have no clue.

I dont know why you dont get it in US, We got that one in Panama. It is a very nice climate control, I am plannig to buy one of those Elantras.

Hmm.. thats strange, in Canada they do sell Elantra with digital temp control installed.

But here in Colombia is a little expensive ... like 26.000 Dollars but in Colombian PESOS.
