It is unfair to make such a comment. Valeria is a very attractive woman, especially for her age. Even if she were not attractive, I still prefer the original Russian version for its musical value.
Laura seems to try to hard. The song does not come out easily and naturally. Moreover, the band has a twangy sound that does not appeal. Admittedly, it is always hard to compete with a popular original.
Lastly, this is not a nationalistic viewpoint as I am neither Russian nor Finnish.
