I like original but I also like this remake. Art direction is beautiful, it's modern version that kept the atmosphere and scary original concept. Cast is also terrific... what's really not to like if you are a horror fan. I believe many act like some movie snobs and anything but hating this 'evil' REMAKE would be against their perfect taste. Give me a break!

The first Omen is my favourite when he was born, then the Second Omen all the way to the 1991 improvised the first, but the 2006 version (this one) is horrible. At least the storyline and the plot is almost identical to the original 1976 version but the modern crap put into this movie makes it awful.

@ras114, if they're doing a remake then hell yes it should be changed. thats why its called a RE-make because its a new take on an old story. Examples of movies that are changed are A nightmare on Elm Street, The house of wax, Sorority Row, and many more. Yes they are the same basic concept but things aren't kept all the same, they are changed so ppl won't feel like they are watching the same damn thing with a new cast. This was a cheap unimaginative way to sell the same story.

I saw the original on cable before i saw the remake. This is the EXACT SAME MOVIE scene for scene. Like they modernized some things, but it didnt make much of a difference cuz the situations were just the same. It even ends the same way too. What a dissapointment.

As for the rest (paranormal activity and the last exorcism), they were the most boring movies i've seen (in my opinion) that I slept half way through paranormal activity.
