A 75mw green dragon laser is the best laser I have ever owned quality wise. A friend of mine went through several 100mw dealextreme lasers and the dragon laser is probably still good if I ever find it again. One day I just couldn't find it, It may have been dropped someplace or its inside my house somewhere, Idk.

is there a stupid duty cycle with these? i bought a p.o.s. laser from rayfoss, only to go over the duty cycle by maybe half a second and fried my diode. spent money to ship back to china and then they never talked to me again.

@counterbond Depends on how hot the environment is. You can use the Spartan for over 10 minutes with out any problems but I personally recommend a duty cycle of 3-4 minutes.

@whatisayworks If you build your own laser pointers it is usually cheaper and you can buy all parts online and customs cant touch them because they are only components.

You can then build it at home by adding a diode to a housing, adding a driver and some batteries. Sure you won't be getting 1W+ (Which is ALOT of power) but its easy to build a 300 - 500mw laser for cheap this way even within australia.
