People need to understand the effects that their words have on others, and that it is in fact not okay to tell someone that they are a waste of space, a weirdo, a loser, etc. That person could very well grow up to do something very important for society. Most "nerds" grow up to be very powerful people, and do a lot of good for the world. Treat others how you would like to be treated. Imagine if everyone else bullied you like that!
On Thanksgiving weekend, I was given the opportunity to help a stranger. The person needed immediate help, and had no family or friend to turn to. It took two days to work it all out. Thanksgiving was special... the power of kindness.
WOW, great job! I hate bullying. Some of the best people I've ever known are the ones who the "popular" kids rejected.
