You obviously know SHIT ALL about Hockey. Trevor Linden has been an exemplary player and a great role model not just for his team mates, but for players of other teams and fans. He has great skill, a real understanding and foresight in the game and he has also shown himself to be a genuine and sincere person, conducting himself with class both on and off the ice.

That guy had an AMAZING career, NEARLY captained his team to Lord Stanley at age 23/24, had 30 goals in his rookie season, had another 4 30+ goal seasons after that, he's a class act, a humanitarian, he is going to retire and have GREAT memories of having a GREAT, SUCCESSFUL hockey career and be glad that he was a hockey player.

Vancouver fans (that aren't bandwagon jumpers) love this man for a reason.
