  • IM getting a 12000 btu one, that should make shure it wont be weak.

  • would it be quieter with a larger btu?

  • @Adayum27 No, louder actually. Unless its a higher quality unit, but more BTUs typically means more power draw, which means more noise.

  • It doesnt keep the room that cool.. Maybe its because i have a large opened living room that is like 300 square feet

  • @mrbing70 yeah if any room is open or over ~200ish sqFT this AC will not work for that.

  • when i set it for 62 degreeson cool, the LED flashes then it goes back up to 80 degrees.. Should it do that?? My other one stayed at the temperature I set it at... Please let me know..

  • @mrbing70 Yes, It will display the temp it is set to for a few seconds, then the screen will read the current room temp.

  • I just brought one today its been on for 3 hours current 83 degrees inside and 100 degrees outside......I will keep it for a while and see if it works or gets any better. If not I am take it back. But I wanna work with it and see how it goes

  • Thanks for the update and tips. Did you end up replacing the factory window kit with something else? Also, how long did it take for the unit to reach the temperature you set it to?

  • <!~~ sweating as i watch this video! of to Home Depot to get one. thanx for the reviews.

  • @SonikBlu23 Glad I could help. Let me know how it works for you.
