  • Call me green, but does this outside paint jobs ok with CA laws???

  • @wejaith3 100% we are compliant. Since then, we have moved to waterborne paint as well. We spare no expense when it comes to quality, material and obeying the EPA laws.

  • yeah, the concept of this is nice but I seriously doubt how good this work will be compared to a body shop. Working outside you have dust, airborn tree particles and bugs. Every time I do touch up work on my car outside all kinds of flying bugs just love the smell of paint.....especially bees

  • AVOID MOBILE AUTOMOTIVE SCRATCH HOSPITAL AT ALL COST!!!! Did you come here from a link from his Craigslist ad? He is not a real auto paint repair professional. His craftmanship is terrible and he does not guarantee his work. At least this company here is a real mobile repair shop. Why would he use a link from another company to demonstrate his craft? Wow really?

  • Be careful of wannabe mobile paint repair services advertised on Craigslist. Most are not professionally trained, have the proper tools, or know how to perform quality work. Make sure they guarantee their work and offer a warranty. Walk away if they don't. I believe this San Diego Mobile Paint is a legit company unlike others! Oh and avoid MOBILE AUTOMOTIVE SCRATCH HOSPITAL AT ALL COST!!!!

  • Damn, that silver car has the type of damage to the same location as my 2010 Accord! Damn, I did not want them to fill it and shit, but I guess there is not much of a choice. That was heavier steel and it was not a panel either!

  • this is bullcrap...cant do a quality repair job outside in the parking lot!

  • @mitkoman You know what they say, "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink."

  • @denttime yea? well the waters poisoned!

  • @mitkoman I think its possible but only in San Diego. It hardly ever rains and 90+ degree weather makes the paint less likely to run

  • @mitkoman

I bet there was so much dust and fish eye on that prius and they probably didn't even wet sand it

    no thank you DentTime

  • @mitkoman I do mobile paint and not trying to sound like im the greatest in the world but I can slick out a panel no problem outside...theres just different techniques you have to use compared to spraying in a booth...if this is bullcrap then why do 99% of dealerships have guys like me working for them??

  • too bad I found you after the fact :(

  • I thought it was OK, no pressure and informative.

  • good
