awesome is a good start, i'd rate him a bit higher.
tell him to give me a call pls. or just say this to him out of the blue; "i stroke the lady's neck a bit myself, but tonight you really brought her off."
and watch his face glaze over...... (i double dare you)
Greatest alternative/punk band of all time IMHO. Their live performances were incredible and every song they played was so full of intensity. I disagree with Dinosore though...I quite liked the Diskin album but Goosefair remains their classic.
Absolute superb! Loved them since the night I saw them support Green Day at Sheffield Leadmill in Autumn 1994. Only saw them once after that again.. Goosefair in my top 3 albums of all time.
I remember the day China Drum split and John Peel announced it on Radio 1. He played Wuthering Heights as a tribute to them, it was the 1st time I ever heard China Drum and I fell in love! I cannot believe I only found out about them after. They are amazing every song they do is BRILLIANT!

Their cover of Wuthering Heights is fucking brilliant, in the same league as Leatherface's Message in a Bottle... Great band...

This is the song/video that got me into China Drum. Caught it on MTV's "120 Minutes" in 1996, and I've been a huge fan ever since.
