@guitarismysword1 Well, this is a nice instrument, but you must have in mind that it's not as "flexible" as a classical guitar. It depends on the kind of music you are willing to play. The neck is narrower and the string action is kinda higher than you'd find on regular guitars. I really like playing medieval / renaissance music, so this german instrument fits my needs. By the way, it can be tuned as a normal guitar, but I always use a lute tuning, wich fits this style better.
@guitarismysword1 Yes, regular nylon strings will fit nicely. But since it's a quite old and delicate instrument I always use low tension strings, because a higher tension would pull the bridge too hard.
