  • What's the name of the boss at 1:33

    I forgot.

  • @LaRueDeeko Andross, his name is Andross

  • @HanakoFairhall

    1:33 is not Andross. Andross is the head.

    1:33 is the boss with the screen over the water, that kinda talks to you.

  • @LaRueDeeko Oh heavens! My apologies, my brain wasn't working

    It's Professor Hangar ^^;

  • @HanakoFairhall

    Ok, thank you!

  • i remember having this game on ninendo. soo sick! i miss it so much!

  • Yeah, I had this game on SNES too, thank god for emulators ^^;

  • Why is the final boss fuckin' Lawnmower Man for a minute?

  • I'm guessing you're referring to when the white face breaks apart and a cube with pictures of him floats around, It's supposed to be his core brain, which you have to destroy. How he put his core brain into a floating head is never explained o_o

  • @HanakoFairhall

    The floating head is just a compilation of bricks and stones built by his telekinetic powers.

  • @LaRueDeeko Good answer ^^;

    I guess what I meant to ask is how he got his brain in there ^^;

  • omg its a hard game the first game i played whas lylatwars the next adventures and the next assault and this one the last one and every game i have named i played out eassy and with this game the first time i coulnd even get passed after lvl 1

  • Yeah, I think this one is the most challenging in the franchise.

    Thanks for commenting!

  • funny thing is when it get's to the last cutscene of the game the arwing's detail goes up tremendously i wonder why they couldnt have that good detail in game maybe hardware limitation's

  • Hey, you're right o.o I can see more detail in the end cutscene, maybe it's because at the beginning they were kind of learning how to do this, and at the end they had it down pat, but deadlines wouldn't let them go back and fix the first ones, just a thought o.o

  • yeah seems like that i really thought it was that they put most of the hardware to make the cutscenes and the game pa,ly had to be downgraded so it could show many things at once and no overload.

  • It could be both ^^;

    Anyway, what did you think of the video, aside from those things? ^^;

  • i think it's awesomeness since starfox fits this song so well.:)

  • Thank you ^_^ I realize I'm not the first person to tie Kenny Loggins to Star Fox, but I had a look at the videos that have been done already, and while there are those with Star Fox and Kenny Loggins, none of them are made to the Original game, so I got it first on that one ^^

    I can't help but be a little disappointed that it doesn't seem as popular though o_o

  • "Star Fox did something almost unheard of in the Video Game world: 3D Polygons. In fact, only one other game did this, and that was Atari's "I, Robot" Arcade Game, so Star Fox was the first time 3D modeling had ever been done for a Home Console."

    Not true: Hard Drivin' came out for Genesis in 1991 and featured 3D models. If we include computers, many polygonal games came out before Starfox:

    The Sentinel (1986); F/A-18 Interceptor (1988); Damocles (1990); Mercenary 3 (1992); Robocop 3 (1992)...

  • In fact, when Starfox came out I had an Amiga 500 and I didn't understand what the big deal with Starfox was, simply because I was already used to see polygonal games.

  • Okay okay, I stand corrected, Star Fox was not the first, as Hard drivin' came out before Star Fox ^-^;

    Well, I didn't intend to include computers, but thanks for the tidbit of information =)

    Well, aside from my getting a few key facts wrong(despite my best effort ^^;) what did you think of the video itself? ^^

  • Terrific video! Great choice for the soundtrack, and I thought leaving the voices on there was the right call, too.

    I have fond memories of this game. Can I ask, how did you record the game footage for upload?

  • Thank you very much! Leaving the voices in was a bit of a challenge, let me tell you ^^

    And yes, you may, it's no huge secret, I used an emulator called Snes9x, it is freeware and happens to have an AVI Recording function, it does take a lot of RAM and hard drive space though ^^;

    That being said, what I did was probably closer to Machinima than game playing ^^;

  • Cool, thanks for that. Have you seen any similar freeware for a PS2? My SNES is locked away in storage at the mo, but I'd like to try recording something with my PS2 games. By the way, since I don't have access to my SNES, any chance of some more SNES vids from you in the near future? I'd love to see something for Street Fighter II: World Warrior, personally! :)

  • well, I don't own a PS2, the only console I know of that has that kind of programming is the Nintendo Wii(Virtual Console).

    Yeah, there's a pretty good chance that there will be more SNES vids in the future, but I usually do them based off games I've played in my younger days, but if you wish, you can download Snes9x to your PC(it works on Windows, Linux and Macintosh) and the Street Fighter game ^^

  • you should use windows movie maker, and mute the video and make the music louder though, but still good video :D

  • I could also do that in Premiere(the software I used to make this video), though I thought it was loud enough ^^;

  • i loved it but, o_o you should've removed the game audio o_o'

  • The only game audio on there are the voices, I thought it would sound better that way ^-^;

  • AWESOME!!

  • Thank you, Glad you enjoyed it ^_^

  • Supah Sweet!!!

  • Thank you very much! ^___^
