  • Great video! Did the Plexiglass have to be prepared in any way before painting with the acrylics?

  • @opcomment , yes the Plexi-glas should be wiped down with a solvent (alcohol or mineral spirits) to remove any grease or dirt.

  • Hi,

I bought a large pot of Liquitex gel medium gloss today,I wanted it to use on a glass on glass window.

But know I think I may have needed the pouring medium.

My question is, can I dilute the gel medium with water and then use it as pouring liquid?

I want a opaque type of finish between the bits of sea glass.

I have tried with Matisse gel medium gloss and am not pleased with the result.

    Any advice would be great

    :)

  • LIQUITEX!!!

  • Bought some Liquitex mediums and can't wait to use them. Glad I found these videos to guide me.

  • okay yesterday I went to by the pouring medium, I couldn't buy it.. I just made a fool of myself.. Idk what you call it. Idk how to describe it. I confused them and myself...

what should I ask for when I got to a art supply store

  • @XPil3s when you go to the art supply store simply ask for Liquitex Pouring Medium, it a medium that gives the paint a consistency to be able to pour it.

  • What medium was you using for the slick look?

  • @countrygirl77771 Hi. I used Liquitex Pouring Medium. Just go to liquitex.com for more information. Thanks!

  • Thanks, that was very informative. :)

  • Great video. I have had so many questions about some of your mediums and have not been able to find any thing as accurate to date. Some of the employees in retail stores that sell your products should be more informed. Thank you.

  • @tresorcache101 Thanks. I'm glad the video was helpful.
