@Mikekarrosdrum well, like i said ;) without practise you won't be getting anywhere. Try doing the "chorus beat" slowly ,and then try to advance in speed. It might take some time, but eventually you'll get the right tempo along with the right moves - coordination between feet(or rather foot in this case) and 16 notes on the hi-hat. Also try not to work with only your wrist while doing the 16s'. Work with your fingers - less fatigue ,and much better for playing fast beats.
