I wonder how long it will take till that boxer 4 blows, it usually does so stock at about 100k miles but with that boost....

@n9athan stock STI's last last longer than 100k miles..depends on how you drive it..the same with a corvette lasts as long as how you drive it...I haven't seen too many corvettes with over 100k miles

@dcosb09 Corvette owners usually won't pile on the miles. Check craigslist, autotrader. You will see. Better for resale. When you spend 40+ at the lowest you don't want it to be worn. STI are bought from a lower age group, more likely to put miles on them, Corvettes are owned by older people. Can't say how long the Vette engines last, I'm putting out a point of observation.

@n9athan well the corvette with a supercharger has about 625 horsepower and the STI has 560 horsepower...it is simple math that the corvette will win but still even though it was a terrible launch by the STI looks like it even bogged down..should have been closer

Thats why american sport cars are so famous ... turbos and superchargers dont are available just for european and japanese sport cars ... but american muscle have lots of displacement and this make all the difference ! Corvette driver : keep your car up !

@TEPerformance3 I am not sure about who invented supercharger for first time , but i am sure thats american sport cars with they re big displacement engines have lots of advantage if so equipped with superchargers or turbochargers when compared with european or japanese turbo or supercharged sport cars !
