I did the exact same things like in those video including the exact same code and it didn't work... When the debuging is finished and the game start I'm on 1st person, without weapon or hud and i can fly around the stage... like I'm in editor mode.... what am i missing?
I can't follow the steps shown on 5:39. I tried doing it at Visual Studio Analyzer and Visual C++ (2008). I thought of a solution of having a software same as you have, but can't find any on the net. I've tried Visual Studio Flat Solution Explorer but it requires me to have a VB 2005, the problem with that is I only have VB 2008.
Is it possible for me to do the same you do using Dream Weaver?

I have gone to "view", world properties and set my play in editor option be my created MyGameInfo but when I try to play it fails to spawn the player. Any suggestions! Have followed this video to a T.

I'm so upset that I won't be able to make a side scroller, my family computer has an admin block on it and I can't download anything without the password, but I used my brother's laptop and it worked but I'm so mad cuz he going off to college soon so I might as well as not even work on my sider scroller...fuck
@0194D Why dont you remove the admin block? Cant you create your own user account? Reinstall windows if you cant remove it. And if you cant reinstall windows because of it, install another windows besides that one that you can use.
No all major settings that, which includes what can be downloaded is controlled by the admin user account. It is the same way school computer systems work. You have to be on a certain account or know passwords to access certain things no matter what.
Just backup the udk folder and then it doesn't matter if you mess it up. We all have done it once deleted something we wasn't supposed to but yeh that's the fun about the engine alot of it is customizable.
Not a bad tutorial well its informative just needs to be presented more.
whu u no tell us how to set up microsoft visual. i cant find any tutorial on that and i cant mod the game without knowing. uhhh

Do you have to use Visual Studio in order to build the files you created? Or can you use a text editor?
