  • BUYER BEWARE!!! These brakes have a tendancy to... wait for it... BREAK!!! lol. Went shooting with my dad and after the 3rd stripper clip the brake flew off about 20 feet in front of me. When I found it I notived the hex bolts had been broke right off, not to mention they change the trajectory of the round slightly. They are a great showoff accessory, loud and proud, but dont expect it to last forever.

Just my 2 cents, cool vid man, you look like a Russian Navyman with that shirt on.

  • @4191301022 Thanks, and yes those muzzle brakes are complete garbage. Never again.

  • LOL - Hows your eardrums Buddy !!!

  • @paulcucumber lol, just fine. I had earplugs :)

  • god damn i fuking love that sound!!!!!

  • Has no one made fun of his shirt? We're not going to make fun of his shirt?

  • @CopperLeagueGaming No one is shooting at him and he's not fighting in close quarters, so I don't believe it matters. From my understanding, a lot of competition shooters wing it.

  • @spetsnaz600 oh yeah!

  • Damn everyone is chicken winging

  • Is that the NCStar one? I hear they havaae a tendency to rip off... 0.o

  • @MrNoobGuitarist wtf...were did you hear that?? now i dont want to get one for my m44..... :-( is it true???

  • @arexp909 A lot of reviews say that the muzzle blast is powerful enough to tear off the brake. Browse the internet for some reviews.

  • @MrNoobGuitarist

Cant you fix that by using locktite?

  • I don't remember, but I owned two different ones and they both did not last very long. The one I'm shooting in the video just came loose after one day of shooting, and the screws on it were garbage so I took it off. Another one that I bought later just flew off after after the first shot. I think unless you want to get them welded to the rifle they are not worth it.

  • Hmm, I've shot rounds out of a German K98 and that stuff gave me a sore shoulder after about 70 rounds worth. I've shot a bit through my Mosin Nagant, no where near the same kick - I'm using light ball though, perhaps people complaining of strong recoil are using heavy ball. A friend of mine dislikes shooting his for the recoil...lol not even bad at all IMO.

  • What would be more effective then a muzzle brake is some lower powered loads.

  • is there something wrong with my ears?

i shoot my 91/30 and m44 without ear protection and it doesn't hurt me or make my ears ring or anything.

my hearing is always fine afterwards, just like it was before i shoot.

  • You're just deaf to begin with then!

  • fantastic. ahaha

  • My M91/30 is loud, but with the shortened barrels my M38, M44, and my Type 53 all sound like fucking cannons going off.

  • wow that reduces recoil a fuck of alot

  • lmao. I took this to an outdoor range a couple weeks ago. The blast and fireball scared the hell out of everyone there.

  • hell yeah, i finally found waldo! didnt know he'd be packing though...

  • it kinda looks like the crowd is his hostage

  • Our recon plane will find them. Wherever they hide!

  • Nice rifle! Give everyone around you earplugs, and give them a chance to shoot it too. They looked scared.

  • I have one on mine, also. It really works great, but from reading around on the 'net, many people have had real issues with them either not fitting, or blowing off the end of their rifle.

  • How much of a diference does it make with the muzzle brake?

  • You definitely feel less recoil. Without the muzzle break you will probably end up with a bruised shoulder after several shots. The bad thing is that those muzzle breaks are really flimsy and usually get loose or fly off altogether.
