  • No where around here are there round wrappers so I buy the square wonton wrappers. I'm going to use the "bud" technique to make my gyoza next time. c:

  • chinese food makes my stomach.......ughhhhh

  • @myaclick ...Wontons aren't all from China you know, and plus why are you watching this..?

  • Wow, such maturity in the comments left.

  • droool

  • She shouldn't be teaching us Chinese food cos she's a Vietnamese!

  • @hicksiskool Ok, you shouldn't be giving advice BECAUSE you don't seem to know ENGLISH

  • @hicksiskool Ok, you shouldn't be giving advice BECAUSE you don't seem to know ENGLISH

  • @LglEglElle I am just commenting. I DID not give advice. I have problems with her teaching viewers Chinese food because she is not a Chinese. Did I say anything that I don't understand her language? Get your eyes checked! You are just making a fool out of yourselves.

  • @hicksiskool Well, considering there is only ONE me, there is my case and point about you not knowing how to write ENGLISH

  • @LglEglElle You are a retard. You comment don't make any sense. Goodbye and suck a dick biatch. LOL

  • WTF. No offense but she's sort of disgracing asians

  • Too bad this is wrong. Nice try Chow tips, but NOTT TODAYYY.

  • @WTFitsJENNY As is so often the case with Chow.

  • @WTFitsJENNY it's just two of the five ways(as i know) to make wonton...

  • it's an acceptable (authentic) way to make wonton although this style is not the most common form. In Cantonese restaurant, they stuff the filling into the dough with chopsticks. It takes about 2 seconds for each. Also, the wonton shown in the video is supposed to be boiled, not deep fried.

The deep fried wonton is much easier to make. Scoop some filling into the dough, and wrap it diagonally, making it look like a triangle.

  • The real method : youtube.com/watch?v=bfh74P29U40

  • Intro sounds like "SHOW TITS" said by a transformer!!!

  • when she said "poached in a little broth" i could of sworn she said "put in a little bra"

    00:06

  • HOW COME NO COMMENTS ON SHOWING BOOBS?

  • we all have to accept the fact that the wanton shown in the video is an "westernized" version of what exists in china. that being said though the wantons shown here wrapped with factory made square wanton sheets look extremely unappetizing at least to a person like me who has been eating this kind of thing for the 16 years of my life.

  • I love it!!!

  • What a Black Oil =O

  • nammers don't make wontons

  • agreed.... wantons are chinese..

  • thanks CHOW tips

  • in china tough (peking and tianjing as far as i know) you should ONLY boil them

  • I think he meant to say VietNAMese. This is a good video but doesn't remind me of the wontons I eat. (They sorta look like the birdies in badminton.)

  • That oil was...very dark.

  • @TurresaaDo It's the bottom of the pot...

  • THATS HOW THEY DO IT!!

In asian restaurants they do it fast I could never figure it out!!

  • haha we made this at are school :P

  • ummmmmmm, did you just deep fry with soy sauce?

  • what the fuck was up with that oil

  • dammmmmmm

    hahaha
