thx for reminding me. changed to aeris. when I uploaded this video, my multimedia library in my computer does not have standardised spelling. about two years ago, I standardised all of it to aeris because it is closer to japanese spelling. my youtube account is pretty much wild / not maintained.

Phoenix downs work on KNOCKED OUT people, NOT dead people, like in real life, if a person has been knocked out, smelling salts sometimes wake them up, however, smelling salts do jack shit if the person is dead, same thing in phoenix downs case.

Besides, which, what happens in FMV STAYS in FMV, Aerith died in FMV and thus, by video game rules, she doesnt come back to life.

Your wrong, Square has said BOTH Aerith and Aeris is correct, just that lately (like with Kingdom Hearts)) Aerith is the one that has been used, take Crisis Core, Aerith is in that.

In Japan there is no 's' sound, there is a 'th' sound but no 's' so with that said, her name, if translated properly, would of been Aerith. The closest thing to her Japanese name, Earisu Geinzubūru, is Aerith but if we translate her first name it comes out as Aerith since, like I said, no 's' sound in Japanese.

Not to mention, the name Aerith is meantto be an anagrame of earth, just with an 'i' added (so I have heard), if we have Aeris, how is that meant to work? Earth being what Aerith was closest to given she was a Centra. Also, if I remember correctly, some FFVII games came out wth Aerith, others with Aeris, thus why Square has said both names are correct, in this day and age though Square USA have decided to use Aerith not Aeris in their games, like what you see in Kingdom Hears/Crisis Core etc.
