Is it just me, or was 2004 the last good year for mainstream music? It seems like after that, the majority of "pop" music just wasn't as entertaining. Don't get me wrong, there's still good mainstream artists out there, but the best ones seem to get overlooked.

2004 was when I graduated high school, and Usher's 'Let It Burn' was to me the most memorable. His "Yeah" song was good but it got overplayed on the radio. Even Hoobastank here got cliche'd from having been overplayed on the radio too.

I should give credit to K. Clarkson and A. Lavigne too, even though I don't dig their styles too much! :)
