In response to why did David Cook not sing this song, I did not pay for a THH concert comment. Well, one Make me is a Midwest Kings song not a To Have Heroes song. Two, I was at this concert it was the concert after the hell of a week that David Cook had. Yes, many of us wanted to here Andy but did anyone think that maybe DC needed a break. This concert had to be hard for him to do. Just my opinion either way I love midwest kings and Andy & David.

I appreciate Andy more since I was right in front of him at the Knoxville show, although I like him a lot before. I think this video is interesting because of the history of MWK with Andy singing lead & David singing backup & playing rythm guitar. This scenario is a part of their growth as entertainers thus is relevant. That said, it is not my favorite song that they do but it is growing on me and I probably would really like it live.

I think it's great that Andy is taking lead on this song. I love David Cook (obviously!), but Andy's voice is so unique and it's such a treat to hear him sing this.. The fact that it is a "David Cook" concert but David asks Andy to get up there shows how little ego DC has and how much these guys all support each other..

I love that David share's the MWK songs with Andy and vice versa. Andy's voice is his own, not David's. He doesn't have the high range that David has, and he has a harder edge to his voice, but he has a good voice. Of course, no one has David's mulitlayered beautiful tones. I just love these guys together, however they want to do their thing. I think David wants to give Andy a song, or a duet because he thinks a lot of Andy and his talents.

If Andy had the voice David did, this would be okay, but he doesn't. Step back, Andy, and acknowledge your strengths. I was surprised that a little You Tube conversation would actually get back to them, but I guess it did. Gainesville was when I really felt like this song was coming together, but now they throw this big wrench in it. Put ego aside, guys, and be the best you can be.

I dunno. I don't think they're as out of the loop as you might think. I think David actually reads some of the stuff out there. I think he's analytical and always looking for ways to improve what he's doing so I wouldn't be at all surprised if he read the comments under the Biloxi video or if someone close to him brought those comments to his attention. I think the desire to reflect and constantly improve and to listen to what people are saying is one of their greatest assets.

Andy's voice is so unusual...I love it. I love how their voices mix and how Dave was raising his hand, encouraging the crowd to scream for Andy. I love this little bunch of bubbas.

David is a rock God to me. But I am also a diehard, and I mean a DIEHARD Andy Skib fan, and MWK is one of my favorite all-time bands. This is thrilling. This needs to happen every time they put Make Me in the set. I've always felt Make Me was Andy's signarture song. David & Andy's harmonizing is always fantastic.

I don't think this song suits anyone's voice, but it's sweet of David to sing a MWK song and it's gracious of him to let Andy sing it at times (he certainly doesn't have to). Personally, I wish they would stick with Anodyne and let this one go.

Let me start by saying that I love nearly every song on Cook's album and I think Andy's THH is great. However, the melody of this song is flat, there is an annoying discordance with the chorus and overall it just sounds like bad 90s post grunge. It's one of the few songs that makes Cook's voice sound mediocre and Andy's only slightly better. I don't understand why people are fighting over who should sing it. (I think that was more opinion than you wanted daphna. Sorry)

This should happen at every show!!! Don't get me wrong... I LOVE David.. But it's really nice to see Andy sing MWK songs too. I really hope we can see Andy sing a song or two at Mystic Lake Casino, July 24th, in Minnesota! I'll be in the front row!!!
