I hate phone so much.. When you have for a long time.. Your battery starts to fuck up.. For example if you have it fully charge then when you call somebody and stayed on the phone for like 5 minutes it goes frickin' low battery.. Had this phone before and I frickin' hate it!! Don't buy it people!!

For this phone how is the qwerty keyboard? I'd consider buying it, but since I text a lot, I would want the touch screen to be easy to use.

@tthatgirlkaylaa It's a pretty descent keboard. I never had any problems with it, but I will say that eventually it stops detecting your touch. Not entirely, just like I'd press the "t" key, and it wouldn't register it so I'd press it again then it would work. Other then that its a pretty nice keyboard for a MetroPCS phone.

@cacapipihead24 I havent had metropcs since june (with verizon now) So unless they have changed it no. When I had the caliber there was only one plan for it which applied to all smartphones which is the $50 plan. They may have changed it I'm not sure, and no your not able to change the menu screen color, or style. No worries though its something small, and its no biggie.

YES .. you can play youtube on it.. you just have to wait a lil bit longer for it to load..

and for the video recorder camer.. you had it on VIDEO MSG... you have to go to RECORDING MODE.. and change it to normal..

@PudgyBear123 yeah, i know. The connection is bad, ive watched videos where the streaming is actually clear on this phone, but with metropcs the connection is good enough to do that. But like you said it can stream videos yes.

buttons are to small but ovrall its good for texters id just reccomend the caliber

as a better phone plus the code cant stream videos and it has a smaller screen.Not to be a hater of the code but its just my opinion.

@courtneywtfff You can, but it just really sucks at streaming videos. If you put a music video, or movie on your phone the picture quality is amazing. Now if your Streaming a video off of a website the quality goes to shit, because this phone really isnt meant to stream videos.

@Misha070 I wouldnt know because ive never used an iphone, ipod touch. I do though have the droid x now, and the caliber is pretty sensitive. (of course not as sensitive as the iphone/droid, becuase its a $250 phone, and those are $600 phones) but for the price from metro it is actually better then what you pay for I say.

@Chudmeister I know, my phone for some reason was taking me to the full site instead of the mobile site, and for the full site you need flash to watch videos. thats why I was having problems, but it sucks at streaming so it might as well not stream at all.

@playboykal uhm, the youtube issue is really the only thing, but other then that no. Also i have dropped this phone many times, and it has never broken on me. So it is also tough.

@juggalette4lyfe817 you can change the sensitivity, but on the most sensitive setting its pretty sensitive. You dont really have to put much pressure on the phone.

@adamgamedude its really good in well lighted scenarios, but when your in a dark area the camera only records what the flash on it can light up. It's good indoors, and outdoors.

@Fleurette2010 idk, idk, and the best way is to just put music on the phone and use those as ringtones. You can bluetooth full length songs, but an mms message can only send sounds that are a 1 minutes or less in length.

@selenababe2 With the caliber theres only one plan you can have. It cost $50 dollars a month, and has everything. Now when I got the phone youtube used java to play there videos, but they just recently changed to flash player I think. So you cannot stream videos from the caliber from youtube anymore.

@bananas916 If you mean when your typing a site to search for yes your limited to 503 characters. If you mean typing a message or updating something like myspace your limited to 1024 characters. So you've got plenty to work with.

You can watch Youtube on any smartphone from MetroPCS now if you change your plan to the new $50 plan that they have. I can watch it on my Finesse and I've seen videos with it playing on the new Caliber.

Yes, the Samsung Caliber and Finesse can stream videos from Youtube. You just have to make sure you are subscribed to the new MetroPCS smartphone plan which is $50 dollars a month. The only thing is streaming things like Youtube videos, if your phone isn't plugged into a charger, will eat up your battery life.

Can you set an MP3 as your ringtone?

I have an older AT&T phone that lets you set any MP3 as a ringtone, but newer ones have a 300 kb file size limit. If you can set MP3s as ringtones, are there any limits that you know of?

Also, what about alerts, or whatever its called. (The sound that plays when you get a text message or voice mail). Can you set any sound, such as an MP3, for that as well?

When you record a video the percent number on the top right give you a percent on how much memory is available as yours showed 94% free memory during this video. The pictures will show you a number, that is how many pictures you can take until the Memory is full. Also you can record 10 minute long videos Etc.
