Funny, at the one minute mark it looks like you were facing an army of the DEAD!!! Coming at ya!!! Its so od seeing Meji on someone elses video. I was just there!!! LOL!!! But man that was a long walk.
@edtomorrow LOL have you been watching The Walking Dead series as well ; P...we were lucky, coz we were booked in for the wedding. We were allowed in to drive up to the entrance & then picked up afterwards for the reception. Which was just as well, we had like 3hrs sleep the night before. Karaoke with the couple that got married till 1am & then up at 5am for Fumi to get made up.
@kmah88 hahaha the kimono's were worn very tightly & it was difficult to climb stairs, but not painful. It was only painful to try to sit & watch everyone eating yummy food at the reception lol

@Searching4Truth1 I'm with you there & its great that the place is so well kept. The gardens are actually pretty huge. Its like a 5 minute walk from the outside before you reach any buildings and the gardeners do a great job. The place is absolutely beautiful, thanks for watching : )
Such a nice video in every way. You guys must be close to the couple if you were invited to the actual ceremony. Did you go to the reception also? That must have been a blast! ~Kurt :-)
ah cool. need to visit Tokyo again, I was fresh off the plane and didnt take in my surroundings! looks like even Tokyo can be beautiful. hope you had a wonderful day.
... just checking, it wasn't your wedding was it? ahhh should really watch right to the end before commenting!! ooops
@monkeystu52 haha I do that myself sometimes when I'm trying to catch up with lots of peoples vids that I'm subbed too...This was my brother and sisters wedding, Fumi and I had our wedding in Australia 11 years ago...Yes Tokyo has a lot of beautiful old places, sometimes they're just a little hidden away between the big buildings. There was this old temple Fumi and I found which was down a little alley & fully surrounded by big buildings towering above it.
ah cool. need to visit Tokyo again, I was fresh off the plane and didnt take in my surroundings! looks like even Tokyo can be beautiful. hope you had a wonderful day.
@kageromaru lol fair enough, I thought you may of been unsure about the meaning of condolences. Yep there's a lot of jokes about marriage being the beginning of the end ; P
awesome mate great vid its great to see that tradional japanese clothing esp for weddings are still in use what was u wearing and at 5.55the guy walking (dressed traditionaly) is that not your sister in law's partner the guy who owned the Japanese Apartment u so Awesomely filmed with the ever incresing bleeps (on the toliet OMG) lol
@sheffguy29 Thanks mate, yes thats my brother. This is some video on the day of his wedding...theres a very quick blink & you'll miss it of what I was wearing at about 2:47 the same suit I wore to Fumi & my wedding 11 years ago lol...worn for about the 10th time : )
@MicknFumi Ahh nice mate looking good how come u dint opt for the tradional japanese dress and fumi looks pretty in that kimono and def looks very happy apart from the tightness of the kimono lol i hope u both enjoyed it and the happy couple have a great time
@sheffguy29 We had a great time, I was a bit stressed about having to do a 5 minute speach in Japanese at the reception. But once that was over I had a great time & Fumi had a great time after she changed out of the kimono lol just kidding, she had a great time & the happy couple are doing very well...The groom was the only male who wore traditional dress & the only females wearing kimonoes were the mothers of the couple, Fumi & her sister.
You sir live a very cool life, I do not know if I will ever visit Japan but I sure would like to. I just need to make sure I can afford a good digital translator when I go.
@Nemesis093781 You could get by without a translater. Tokyo and the major toursit spots always have english information and often people who at least speak a little english. I highly recommend a visit, thanks for watching mate : )
Very nice and elegant wedding! Fumi looked pretty in her pink kimono. The little boy gave me a good laugh blowing on that thing! Kids are kids no matter what culture they are from!!
@cloudstrifeification It was a great day and the young boy was great to have around. He made me smile all day, he's a great kid. He's my brothers nephew : )
@mellowsky47 It was very quiet at Meiji Jingu in the morning, coz we arrived at 5:30am. The funny thing is, between Fumi walking into that building and coming out in her kimono, 3 hours had gone by & I had slept on a lounge in the waiting room lol
Wow, that is very pretty! I love the chirping birds in background! OMG the bride is so beautiful!! Fumi's kimono is such a pretty color! Ahh the lights in the hall! Oh wow,the bride's hair do! Ooh the bride changed her dress and her hair!! LOL the kids *fweee* thingy! Cool video! Thanks for posting!
@finalfantasy4everock It was a great day, the bride & groom were my brother & sister. This was their big day 2 years ago...thanks for watching and always enjoy reading your comments : )
@oiomusicproductions Yes Meiji Jinguu is a very popular place to have a wedding. My brother and sister had to wait 18 months to have there wedding there. It was worth waiting though, it was a beautiful day : )
@Theytoldmetodoit1 The photos were sitting on the desk as examples, they were't related to us. But yeah it probably was for Shichi-go-san...Fumi did look great in the kimono, it made it a bit hard for her to eat though, so she couldn't wait to change lol...yeah you should post the vid mate, I'd love to see it : )
@ozzy78 Fumi looked nice in her pink kimono, but she couldn't wait to get changed into her other clothes. Coz she couldn't sit down or eat, due to it being so tight lol her mum said the same thing & it was annoying for them when the food at the reception was awesome.

Truly like going to the shrines, so filled with serenity.
Can't imagine someone using a leaf-blower vs the trig brooms to tidy up the area re @ the 1:30 mark

Photo's taken for Shichi-go-san in the photo album? Fumi looked beautiful in her pink kimono.
Those Japanese weddings are not cheap.
I saw a wedding take place in Kamakura. I should post the video. It is only a short video but it might be worth uploading.
Great video mate. really enjoy it :-)
