ive heard its actually one of the worlds most dangerous exits. lol and abingdon was on jeopardy. the answer was abingdon has the longest main st of a town in the usa.
Northbound Exit 14 is one of the worst ramps I've ever seen. It's extremely dangerous with the truck rest area right before it. You never really know if you're going to make it or not.
I hate exit 14. You either enter too fast or not fast enough. I did not even know there was a wreck there. It's almost to be expected though. I wish they'd change that stupid "on" "off" ramp.
the driver of the car did die. he apparently missed the offramp, stopped, and tried to back up to take it. a tractor trailor rearended him. the truck went over the bank on the right hand side of the highway and ended up on its side.

Stupid designed interchange. I always hated trying to get off it on northbound side
