@billslover90 First of all, I'd like to say that these are just my humble opinions. The rappers/artists that you mentioned are definitely legends of their period. True oldschool hip-hop, also known as "The Golden Age of Rap", is the period of 1978-1990. By the time these other rappers came out, it was already about guns, dissin', sex, cars, violence, and more sex. It did not have the same great/fun atmosphere that the oldschool period provided. It became about who has what and who has the most.
