I just watched the "making-of' of this, and I was all set to be blown away and intimidated. Instead, cartoon made by the idiots I just fired from my film... virgins who sit with McDonald's bags next to them, animating breasts that are anatomically incorrect, since they have never seen an actual breast.

I've fired 11 animators from the Academy of Art in San Francisco, so I suggest avoiding graduates of that shithole unless you want a chubby Asian dork hitting on your wife as you try to work.

If you want to experience this video to the fullest I suggest you buy the DVD, thats what I did, and the quality is so much better than any online video. The dvd makes the trip a much better experience plus the bonus features are are great too.

It's hard to watch this fairly derivative video as anything other than a reflection of the failure of the music in 10,000 Days. There's just not that psychological or metaphysical insight there was on Lateralus, hence the rather benign, repetitive imagery. There's also not much lyrically to spur it on. Disappointing, I felt. Still way more imaginative than most things out there, but I get more out a band like Mono these days.
