If you haven't already, check out the "Mandom" cologne commercial Bronson did in Japan. One can easily see him slapping on a little before going downtown to shoot a few punks. Or maybe afterward, when he's winding down from a good night's work.

I forgot to add. The scene that should also be highlighted, is 9:19. If you have the whole movie, you will notice the Police Chief sitting by the window and wall that gets blown the fuck out by Bronson and the rocket launcher. Nothing happens to the Chief!

Great review lol. One of the best Bronson movies period. I love the shootout scenes where Bronson stops in front of 3 or 4 guys shooting at him, crouches down, then pings them all off one at a time. You forgot to mention the number of villains that get shot and fall from buildings. You also forgot to mention the awesome jail scene where Bronson smashes a cellmate's head between bars. Pure awesomeness!

I saw this movie when I was very young, and I felt then and still now, that it's one of the better action packed films out there. Though, a little over the top, it's GREAT fun. BRONSON FOREVER! Love this guy! I think the reason he played exactly the same character in all of his movies from the '50s to the '90s is because he was simply playing himself or the way he felt he would want to react in these situations, so it came naturally.

I have the entire DW series (and most all of his other movies) but DW 3 is the most shoot 'em up and probably the most cheesey as well, and for that, I love it most.

I also rate the commentary at 5 stars!

Anyway, the movie is awesome. I never even thought of it as being a flop. Now i read about some of the editing mistakes made by Michael "Arnold Crust" Winner , and, really, it makes the movie even more interesting to watch.

And I agree that Bronson "shooting people" is great; that was his biggets strentght, the cold blooded look before he shot his enemies, even at 60 something, he had that!
