  • WOW i fuckin regret not associating my self with older adults that watched basketball games in the jordan ERA. i was a fuckin little kid i dint even know what were the days they were playing on NBC. much less when they were playing in the play-offs.i should have gone down to my local liquor store and gotten one of those tiny free book schedules they had next to the registers, yall remember those?..hahahaahah

  • They just can't do it like this anymore. Those games were true battles between teams from the chess moves the coaches made to the execution or lack of execution on the part of the players.

  • Look at them all go off.

  • Classic finish. Pippen with the D

  • Nearly all I heard was : "Jordan, Yes!"

  • i do give credit for the defense but seriously charles smith? it's an easy put back and on all 4 attempts you missed them even without drawing a foul. no pump fakes or anything. It's too bad because you'll always be known for that play.

  • MJ broke many consesus concerning pro basketball.one was no scoring leader could ever win a championship.prove them wrong.another was MJ won the defensive player of the year.I have seem many great player including Russell,Oscar.West, wilt, etc, but Mj seem somehow to rise above those guys.what else can you say about the man that have,nt t been said?

  • eat shit Knicks

  • Incredible that Jordan and the Bulls were really revolutionary in the sense that the NBA had always had championship teams led by big men down in the low post. All most every champion, if not all of them, had a legitimate superstar big man in the low post. You couldn't win without one, INCLUDING YOU, KOBE. Jordan was really the first guard to do it without a legitimate superstar big man down in the low block... Unless of course you consider Luc Longley a legitimate SUPERSTAR big man.

  • @kanguesso i dont

  • @kanguesso You're right, but in all fairness to the teams that he faced in the finals, none of them had legitimate superstar big men either...

  • @miafins11 You don't Karl Malone, Shawn Kemp, Charles Barkley and others Jordan and the Bulls faced in the finals were legitimate super star big men in the league at the time?

  • @kanguesso those guys are certainly legitimate superstars, just not big men...when i think of superstar bigs, guys like shaq, Hakeem, Kareem, etc. come to mind.

  • @miafins11 Yes Shaq, Hakeem, Kareem are certainly bigs that come to mind but in the Jordan era, guys like barkley, Malone and Kemp were certainly bigs that were ripping the league apart. Plus at that time the general consensus was that YOU NEEDED a superstar big man in order to win a championship. Jordan was the first to break that kind of thinking. He did it with no superstar big.

  • @kanguesso I guess we'll agree to disagree, those three guys were usually checked by Pippen or Rodman, none of whom are bigs. It's not like they were matching up vs Chicago's centers (Cartwright, Longley, etc.) The only one that coul maaybe pass for a big, out of the guys you mentioned, is Malone.

  • Man the Bulls were so good.

  • Speaking of embarassing blowouts at the Garden for the Bulls, in their first meeting of the 1992-93 season at MSG on November 28th, Chicago was beat down by 37 points, 112-75. That's unbelievable to me..you never hear of the Jordan-Pippen led Bulls getting plastered like that..I'm not sure if Jordan played in that game, but I'm assuming he did. It had to of been the worst loss, by far, since Phil Jackson took over 3 seasons earlier..safe to say though, this game was gonna go down to the wire.

  • @LuigiLaker wait who was speaking of that??

  • Mj was so clutch. Icon for not only the NBA but mankind.

  • I doubt this is the play that Pat Riley drew during the timeout:

John Starks tries to play point guard and travels the fuck out... dumps the ball to Ewing inexplicably at the 3-pt line... who dribbles awkardly, loses his balance and barely flicks it to Charles Smith... Smith forgets he's 6'10 and goes for soft layups instead of dunking... gets punked by Grant, Jordan and Pippen twice...

One of the most ridiculous plays you'll ever see after a timeout with the season on the line..

  • with Jordan upstoppable, we must pay respect to this Knicks team who battled all the way and never gave up!! Pat Riley, you are the best coach.

  • Yo Jordan could of really been an all around player more like lebron and magic if he wanted, but why do that when he could put up 50 at any time!!! LOL! GOAT hands down!!!

  • @icyneck3000 Jordan is definitely more all round than LeBron

  • Stark did it one dam time in NY-MJ did it every dam game-the man was the best ever-it was 1992 playoff!!

  • Great video my man, ANYONE with a PS3 can download my rosters on 2k10 with THESE TEAMS that play LIKE this video, and a HOST of others great rivalries, check my channel, you wont regret it. Peace. P.s. for those with other systems I'm making video's of the teams so the stats can be entered if desired of other systems, plus relive just about ALL the BESt rivalries to '87 Showtime Lakers, to '92 dream team and MORE, check description for more info, take MY legend's World's Greatest Startin' 5's

  • That was the day i developed severe stomach problems cheering for my Knicks!

  • What a great series this was man I had miss NBA in the 90's

  • @ 4:51 ewing and tarks pawned by the GOAT...don't mess with the god of basketball.

  • Patrick Ewing was a shocker.

  • which game is the one where Starks Dunks on "Jordan'?

  • @h0opman

It doesn't matter because the Bulls won the series and Starks was still MJ's bitch for all of eternity.

  • @h0opman Game 2 of this series. And MJ wasn't really close enough to be "dunked on" but whatever, it's cool lol they all say he did...

  • @BigCrockDawg lol yeah i Know....it was really grant who he dunked on.....jordan was just help from the weak side.

  • i heard charles smith cried at the pres conf. does any one have it

  • lol at Pat Riley's smile at 2:26, like, I'll never beat this guy....

  • How does basketball-reference list Pip with ZERO blocked shots for this game ? :)

  • good game for jordan

  • Amazing defense on Charles Smith. Incredible

  • Michael Jordan could do whatever he wanted to. If he was a point guard throughout his career, he probably would have averaged a triple-double or at least a double-double with points and assists.

  • I love how the Bulls just storm off the court after buzzer, like Yea, we just stole one from y'all, PEACE!!!!!!

  • I miss these days of the nba

  • Whoever says Scotie Pippen is not a big time player need to get their head out of their ass. He saved the series with his clutch shots and great defensive plays.

  • stopped smith, stopped smith, smith stopped again!!!!!! one of the best days of my young life

  • anyone who thinks lebron is a better passer than Jordan is an idiot

  • of course jordan had a triple double in the biggest game of the year snapping a 27 game home court winning streak by the knicks. 1986-1993; the greatest era of nba baskeball

  • i miss the 90's nba... mj = GOAT.

  • Look people quit bitching about multiple allstars being on the same team. Yes the NBA was tougher in the 80's & 90's and the rules were change for Shaq & Kobe, but if you are a superstar and you have a chance to play with 2 other superstars your stupid to not do so. Charls Barkley once said he never played with another star while he & the other were in their prime & wish he did. Now Barkley acks like he got a problem with what Miami's doing. Old NBA stars and some fans are just bitter & jealous.

  • @KingRam33

No...Lebron is just weak. Can we please stop hearing about he's the best player ever when he's not even the best player on his team any more.

  • @scarface331 I didn't say LeBron was the best player ever I said people are bitching about multiple allstars playing together in their prime to get a ring when everyone is doing it now a days. No one had a problem till Miami poped off about how many rings they would win. Your right Labron is playing like a bitch, but I can't hate on them for trying to do it together while their in their prime. Kobe is better than LeBron & no one is better than Air Jordan .

  • @KingRam33

Now that's how you score in the 4th quarter Lebron. Look at this tape.

  • @sluv2600 I agree LeBron got to the 4th quarter of the finals and forgot how to play WTF? He needs to study this & other Jordan tapes.

  • The infamous...Charles Smith game!

  • 5:42 "Ewing for Smith... Smith... stripped, Smith, stopped, SMITH STOPPED AGAIN BY PIPPEN! WHAT A PLAY BY SCOTTIE PIPPEN!" I miss the Nba on NBC with Marv Albert. What an epic finish and call.

  • @ntreeg Marv Albert is a legend.

  • You don't see defense this perfect today in the NBA.

  • 5:35 travel on Starks?

  • i couldnt even watch this game i was so nervous........the bulls r the shit.....

  • @213DOGFA the bulls were the shit.

  • Imagine if Magic, MJ, & Karl Malone got together, ahaha.

  • @JRangerCR355 92' Dream Team!

  • amazing!!! one of the best defensive stops in NBA history!! nick fans did not know what to do! completely stunned by Chicago Defense!! Bulls-Knicks 90's nba = AMAZING!!

  • Poor Charles Smith.

  • I miss the 90's NBA era. David Stern legitmized multiple allstar players to be on the same team, that would have never worked back in the 90's, that shows how weak todays era really is when you have Pierce, Garnett and Allen on the same team, just terrible.

  • @KQH8

    including Lebron, Wade, and Bosh.

  • @dorkod Damn right them too. If the 80's and 90's are so weak like everyone says, how come you didnt have multiple allstars on one team playing for championship. The 80's and 90's was the strongest era in the NBA, and thats factual. Today is so weak, the league allows multiple allstar players on the same team. For Example: The Celtics, The Heat, and The Lakers, which are the teams that have won all of the last few championships, cant you smell what the rock is cooking.

  • Comment removed

  • @KQH8 hahah so Larry Bird, Kevin Mchale, Danny Ainge, Robert Parrish, Magic Johnson, Kareem Adul-Jabber, and James Worthy Werent Superstars?? Lol! What about Barkley, Olajawon, and Clyde Drexler?

  • @Grobertown I'll say this much about all those superstars, save the last 3 of the Rockets. All of them were drafted or traded for before they hit their peaks. Kareem was in LA a couple years before Magic was drafted, and they won their first title before Worthy was drafted. Bird and McHale were both drafted and Parish was traded for during the same summer that Bird was drafted. The Bulls developed Jordan, Pippen, and Grant. They were all drafted. These days, it's all stacking, not developing...

  • Oh & I love how Jordan & the Bulls just run off the court after getting the Win.

  • ahha Classic Game. BJ w/ the go-ahead shot!

  • An incredible finish!!!

  • What an epic finish!

  • He's a Basketball GOD !

  • watch so many Pippen's compliations and nv seen that thunderous facial at 2:32 before...wtf!!!??

  • sCOTTIE pIPPEN.....Hall Of Famer and you cant knock him for playing with Jordan cuz its a team game. Elway didnt win one til he Had Terrell Davis... Every Batman needs his Robin or better said 1a and 1b... Scottie Pippen did it on both ends and would D up 'Melo anyday

  • When MJ says he's gonna do it...He's gonna do it and more.

  • My heart couldn't stop pounding with the last play of this game with Smith attempting to make the last shot for the Knicks. Thank basketball god that he didn't. But I do feel sorry for that dude though. Love these Bulls' squad.

  • oboy, those were times...MJ was smooth as butter...what a different NBA that was...noz zone def... oboy

  • Is this the best deffense play ever in playoffs........ 4 times was stopped.... for me yes

  • When Charles Smith retired, the NY Post headline said: "Charles Smith: The End of an Error"

  • I so remember this night. I watched this game live. What a finish

  • Big humiliation by Jordan over Starks........ no more saying

  • Gustavo si recuerda, el final, Smith blocked, (bis)

  • The New York Knicks of the 90's were a freakin' joke. They could never beat the Bulls. When they finally did get their shot at the title in the 1994 NBA Finals against the Houston Rockets, they were leading the series 3-2 and still found a way to lose the series. The Knicks are one of the most fraudulent sports organizations of all time. I can't help it but to laugh anytime I watch any of their highlights from back in the day. I think Spike Lee is their curse.

  • @davisadministration yeah even today they got Melo Anthony an Stoudemire and they are doing nothing else than loosing games as usual, maybe LeBron could've changed history if he would've play in the Knicks, who knows???

  • best player i have ever seen on TV NBA !!!!!!

  • In today's game, the refs would call like 50 fouls on that last play. This is the NBA at it's peak.

  • @PEPEelZAPATISTA Its soooo weak now.

  • @Grobertown

And they say Jordan couldn't pass. He puts Lebron to shame. Now that's a meaningful triple double.

  • @PEPEelZAPATISTA I think their heads would explode if they saw defense like that again.

  • Knicks won four in a row, regular seasons and first two playoff games. but what a sweet win stolen by bulls

  • Smith was aggressive but he just kept trying to lay it in off the backboard. Should have just gone up strong with two hands and dunked it.

Oh well, that's why MJ and Pippen have 6 rings and he has none.

  • Stepback at 3:26 is ridiculous.

  • mike scottie and da bulls had a little swaggger to him they where down 2 games to o in the eastern conferance finals and still cameback the end of this game had me lmao charles smith was a clown lol

  • mike scottie and da bulls had a little swaggger to him they where down 2 games to o in the eastern conferance finals and still cameback the end of this game had me lmao

  • the 10 people who don't like this video felt sorry for starks lol

  • @ShaAllah7 what are u talking about magic beat the bulls in the 90s.. dont talk like you know shit idiot

  • lol hey guys did you see starks reaction after mikes and 1 he had nothing to say he never had a fucking answer for the greatest

  • That Pippen dunk is so awesome, Jordan just stares at the Knicks afterward like "my sidekick just whooped your ass"

  • @farneyblakeley And no foul call to top it off! The NBA when it was real - 1993.

  • one of the best game ever !!!

  • Michael Jordan is the GOAT. It's really not even close.

  • Loooooved the NBA back then, HATE IT NOW !!! Too bad the gangbangers have taken over the league. Can't root for someone I dispise !!!

  • @ltahoe7195 u leave ron artest, gilbert arenas, iverson ,tracy mcgrady and kobe alone

  • and everybody on this page talking about traveling, u have no idea wat u talkin about....How did everybody miss Starks travel on their last possession? He stopped his dribble pumped faked and jumped back with both feet then jumped to shoot and passed to Ewing...thats a travel watch 5:36

  • nothing like watching a bulls knicks playoff game, this is when the nba was at its best....Bulls down 2-0 come back to win the next 4....MJ baby......Great D Scottie...get that weak shit outa here Smith haha...

  • i remember my brother and i watching this during a late hot spring my moms making fried chicken and no air conditioning. but boy did we enjoy this game. if u look closely the bulls never fouled smith. it was all clean blocks. my house went nuts being that we were all bulls fans, living in nyc. lol

  • This should have been in the 30 for 30 series. Winning time MJ vs. The Knicks

  • @mrstuntastic No doubt, i remember watching Reggie Miller Winning time vs Knicks 30 for 30 documentary..and after thinking they should have also made one of MJ vs Knicks, would have been awesome.

  • 2:32 Skeet skeet!

  • lol it had to be a tongue twister for Marv Albert(greatest announcer ever) to say that final play

  • @Kaymikes23 only he could pull that off

  • classic armstrong in the corner.

  • u kno whats crazy.. i picked off a few moves from MJ when i was a child n from magic johnson n didn't even know it... lol his crossover, in n out (fake crossover) n back around moves for the lay up, his double clutching, his fadeway, his creative n almost ill-advised layups, his hang-time n the famous skip n burst step lmao. I didn't realize i emulated his game so much to the point i got called baby MJ literally. Picked off sum moves, i damn neared copied him n i barely got to watch him..

  • @jknight213 -______-

  • i think we all know who push towards that crossover move first... or atleast used it a lot more, unless someone else can shed some light on it??? I know Tim Hardaway use to do it alot but wasn't that after this season or so??? So who was doing it around this time or b4?

  • @jknight213 na Tim Magnified the Move.. Jordans Crossovers would be mostly travels.. As a matter of fact alot of Jordans Moves where travels.. ANd no im not an MJ hater.. But its true Superstars do get away with traveling sometimes.. ITs not bad officiating just sometimes you want to see something spectacular you let a couple slide

  • @Kaymikes23 not to get into too much of a debated issue over traveling, but i guess we might lol what is a travel? i must ask that ? 1st to any1 who feels otherwise from my views. I get MJ cheats or bends the rule on pivot moves at times & in plain view i might add but on the way to the basket i don't see it. I'll state this & if u wish u can explain yourself. A travel is 2 complete steps which ends up taking 3 steps in total.. so at the end of the process of dribbling is when u count steps

  • @jknight213 Well you correct on travel definition.. But If you look closely on Jordan's Post moves when he spins of sometimes not alot he would shuffle his feet before he dribbled or spin take a step then dribble somtimes even two steps but ref's dont call it they let him play because it a rare thing to see Jordan travel.. but he has travel alot off the post moves

  • @Kaymikes23 you're an idiot if you think that way.

  • @sunnyboy8644 lol no you are just a ignorant Jordan Fan who doesnt understand the game.. Reffs Dont call travels on superstars most times.. You probably dont know what basketball is sigh

  • @Kaymikes23 obviously you have no idea about the game of basketball, so dont even bother to post your stupid shit on here, bcz you're just an IDIOT.

  • @sunnyboy8644 I have no idea about basketball?? thats how i know you are ignorant... ALLLL SUPERSTARS get away with travels.. Not saying that they do it often but some travels officials dont call... Jordan himself said it lol.. You dont play basketball all you have done was accuse me .. you have no valid points of you statements being correct

  • @Kaymikes23 you're an idiot by thinking jordan travels in this video. first of all , M.J. aint no lechoke james with his lame ass crab dribble. second of all, i do play basketball and for a very long time (14 years), so dont even try to bring that B.S. up. third of all, you're just AN IDIOT.

  • @sunnyboy8644 Kid thats how i know you illiterate because i never said Jordan traveled in this video.. we are speaking about in general.... You need to do you Jordan research and watch his post moves .. PLaying for 14 years and you still dont know what a travel is?? and im the idiot hahahah smh..

  • John Starks at 2:32 - classic.

  • fuck yo NBA should be ashamed with that new technical rule shyt, wtff players cant even do any hand gestures now.NBA is soft nowdays.in the 80s n 90s it was a real man game with Barkely,MJ,Malone n rodman, and in the 2000s it turned into Boys game with Kobe and KG but now its a babys game with fuckin Lebron n dwade, you jus touch their hand its easily a foul n ref calls bullshit techs hahaha, nba has changed...

  • @stevechen1991 yeah, the final change for me was around 05 when all contact was eliminated. All you have to do is compare the 06 finals with Wade (taps) vs. the early 99- 00 finals.

  • @stevechen1991 reason is because all the fights that occur after the fact and injuries

  • charles smith....*sigh*

  • The good Days when Hoop was hoop.!

  • I wonder what Smith thought about that last Knicks play?

  • Ewing for Smith. Smith. Smith stopped. Smith stopped again by Pippen. What a play by Scottie Pippen!

  • this was one of the greateset series in modern basketball .... this game was just epic.

  • What was the ref looking at, at 5:36 when starks had the ball....that was the biggest travel ever lol

  • type this after youtube.com /watch?v=qgWzVYEQDaA

Jordan tells knicks to sit down..after agrressive foul!!

  • Yet another example of why jordan is the greatest. There was nothing he couldn't do.

  • that shot over ewing at 3:50. is sick. MJ guarded by center without any dribble or fakes just shot right over him

  • 2:32.. just wow, pippen could really get up. Such a man's jam!

  • ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK

  • as a bulls fan, these were the type of games that really pumped you up....road playoff game in a setting like the Garden.....just something about those red uniforms with the black shoes....they always switched to black shoes in the playoffs....MJ's idea.

  • Well atleast Charles Smith got to pad his stats on dat last possession...he got at least 3 offensive boards..lmao

  • Which game was it that there was a huge brawl between them and David Stern was in the stands? I would love to see that one.

  • @tien714 the following year there was also a heat/hawks brawl that playoffs too lol gotta love the 90's NBA

  • It was so badass back in the early 90's, charging and blocking fouls are so RARE. Look at Pippen's dunk over Starks.

  • God I miss Michael Jordan!

  • This was the time when it was MENS bball physical and tough the good ol days nowadays if guys played like this they wouldn't last the first half with all the sissy foul calls these are the good ol days

  • @klove20w I agree. No days they have to protect every "star: Because todays star can miss a month if he gets a bruise.

  • ahh....goosebumps man.

  • SMITH, SMITH ,SMITH ,SMITH STOPS STOPED AGAIN BY PIPPEN WHAT A PLAY BY SCOOTIE PIPPEN FINAL SECONDS JORDAN FOR ARMSTRONG AND THE BULLS HAVE DEFEATED THE KNICKS. THANK YOU BULLS.LOVE CHICAGO.NEW YORK THANK YOU THOSE WE'RE GREAT GAMES, PUT IT THIS WAY TEAM SPORTS AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL.WHAT A WAR.

  • @lupeaw11 BOOOOOOOOOO THAT WAS EVIL!!!!!! That robed me of my High School Graduation Present of the Knicks going to the Finals that year and getting revenge on the Phonex Suns from that brawl earlier in the season against Kevin Johnson (the mayor of Sacramento) Your team was ALWAYS IN EWING'S WAY!!! NO MATTER WHAT THE KNICKS DID IT WAS ALWAYS THE SAME RESULT!!!! And the Knicks could never win in Chicago. BOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Only in sports though. Not hating on you personally just the sports

  • @westwood123x Knicks could never beat chicago anywhere...

  • @lopido That was sooooo EVIL of the Bulls. So evil.

  • Hey Knick fans, how about that Michael Jordan? lol - Reggie Miller

  • Kobe>MJ

  • @thebruceblitzchennel MJ > Ben Wallace > Kobe

  • @SupraDomination Kobe>Wallace>Lebron

  • @thebruceblitzchennel Me > MJ > Wallace > Kobe > thebruceblitzchennel

  • HAHAH,, john starks is too WEAK for jordan.. damn! BULL's Line-up before is so strong!

  • i hate how the current bulls road jerseys are such a bright red, i liked the darker red unis better

idk what rivalry i enjoyed watchin' more bulls vs knicks or pacers vs knicks

  • Man this is real basketball

  • 2:33 LOL, in today's game that's an offensive foul, But, the refs called nothing at all, they let them play.

  • @MrAzher48 thank u for that statement... cuz i believe its either a charge or a no call. Thats the same dunk Shanon Brown try to put on J Rich and they called a blocking foul. I was looking at the game in shock. J Rich is chillin setting up to take the blow and brown takes a shot at him with a knee to boot. If he was that great of a dunker, he would have pulled a Vince and go over him instead of thru him.

  • 5:43-5:52 - The Bulls looked like a pack a vultures! ;-) Great defense against the Knicks. Miss the days of MJ and the Bulls.

  • Best part about this era was a cross dressing pantie wearing Marv Albert

  • Somebody was a little mad after bj armstrong got that last basket.

  • @keineke1 It was Charles Smith.

  • i love this kind of game " no blood no foul"
