So I'll make up a mix cd of my fav songs from my fav band (One guess which band) and I'll hand them out to friends, randoms, family... you name it.

That's what's kickass about trivium, bands actually don't make much of their money from CDs at all, on average a band makes $1 for a $15 dollar album (so in a 4 man band $.25 for each member) Bands make most money from merchandising and concerts, not to mention the record label (WMG) has to do with trivium, who cares if they lose money

Crusade was a wannabe metallica CD. Even though Ascendancy had some similar riffs to other bands, it was extremely fun to listen to. And Trivium has ALWAYS been a metalcore band.
