Oasis....their simple and strong lyrics are just outstanding especially about the songs in Definitely Maybe. Although Gallaghers have a bad mouth, they don't put any bullshits into their songs and they really appreciate freedom of speech, freedom, economy, human rights instinctively as well.

I don't hate Blur but, Blur is like making crap which can't be a poison or a medicine over and over with a different approach. I mean their music isn't that bad but, also isn't deep enough somehow.

If Oasis release Wonderwall or Don't Look Back In Anger as the lead single, there is no competition. Blur would have been SMASHED in the so-called battle. Instead, Oasis release possibly the weakest song from WTSMG and it only just falls short against a single released in two formats (both counted in final numbers) and which was considerably cheaper. The superiority of Oasis however was always going to shine through and leave those has-beens Blur in their wake.

Blur chop and change everything, they sound so different in some songs its unbelievable (e.g.tender-we've got a file on you). Oasis though have usually stuck to the same sort of format, but make change in that format (e.g. (get off your) high horse lady-cigarettes & alcohol).
