They probably would have gotten somewhere if they hadn't have did the whole "fake it till you make it" thing. They acted like they were bigger than they were, and that's what fucked them over, I think.

what screwed the band over was Robin himself - no industry person EVER took the band seriously. Not even the local radio station, 102.1 - they'd play RFB ads when the records came out, but NEVER any of their songs...Robin's on stage antics and rants about them being the best really screwed them over (even if it was an act).
