  • go Old Joe Go !!!! you kick more ass in this one song than most singers kick in a lifetime.

  • I like this video a lot!!!!....Phill and Bryan have the sound and feel, to play this theme how must be played...thanks for this video...

  • Music is my religion... This clip says it all !!!

  • Takes me back... Good stuff !!!

  • I'm afraid that music like this will vanish in the future, noone will remember the music from the past and it will be lost forever! It's a terrifying thought!

  • @hancar No it won't it. Will always be around.

  • O tempo passa.

  • Joe Cocker.....

  • just.. wonderfull.

  • Never even HEARD of the guy.. when I saw him in the old Atlanta Municipal Auditorium, about '69 or '70, doing a three-way thing.. billing with Santana, and Chicago.. all on that rattley wooden stage. Had no idea what he was doing with his fingers, either! But, hey, I got over it.

When I sing this song, his is the version I go for!

  • If anybody knows how to get the most out of that song.....J. C. took that song to another level....thanks Joe!

  • without words - no compare - great

  • Joe is one of the greagtest songs writers ever!!!

  • Point taken but, still of the opinion that Brian should have taken a back seat.

  • @upthejunction269 Probably because in the original recording, the electric guitar (which i believe was by Jimmy Paige) played such a major part.

This is the remixed audio - the lead guitar part in the original tv broadcast has May a lot more prominent in the mix, and sounded a whole heap better. May looks a bit silly with this mix as you can barely hear him. In the original mix he sounded bloody amazin'!

  • @thehotwombat Point taken. I do not doubt Brian's ability and admire it. However, I still feel that his presence on stage directly behind Joe, in a permanent spotlight detracted from what should have been Mr Cocker's stage alone, and was, therefore, unnecessary.

  • Isso é voz e talento. Timbre de: vem cantar aqui em casa rss. Com Phil Collins na batera e Brian May na guitarra... Que coisa show! Opsss além da música que é um hino.. luxúria total!

  • @MariangelaProdutora And Paul McCartney the lyrics.

  • Who ever disliked this is probably a fiddler

  • Why is Brian May prancing about behind Joe in a SPOTLIGHT after all their are plenty of other musicians behind him just as good, with no attention - he should have let Joe take centre stage, where he belongs, without this distraction.

  • @upthejunction269 hey don't bash brian may

  • @Thespidey665 No bashing implied, just consider that Joe Cockers performance stands up on its own without Brian acting as a distraction being so unnecessarily highlighted on stage.

  • @upthejunction269 But after all, it is QUEEN's Golden Jubilee.

  • Fantastic!!!!!

  • Wow....(that's all I can say)..

  • excelente , unico , extraordinario , el mas grandeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Bateria: Phil Collins, Bass: Pino Palladino. Keyboards: Paul "Wix" Wickens and Steve Winwood. Guitars: Phil Palmer and Brian May.

  • @dinbrew bateria... aka drums for non-pompous assholes

  • Excellent

  • 5:14 - screamo

  • 4:09

  • Some people don't get it. When I was growing up in the early 70's, I didn't get what the fuss was about - this guy with the scratchy voice. Later on, with a bit of musical maturity on my part and it became one of the most beautiful voices I had ever heard. The songs that annoyed me before could bring me to tears in the best way possible.

  • @billhare I totally agree with your comments and sentiments - we said

  • @billhare Excellently put.

  • @billhare Same here, also with the late Janis Joplin.

  • do they really need that many people? No

  • @vrethedon yes, yes they do

    Quem concorda?

  • Y AQUI UN EJEMPLO DE QUE SI SE PUEDE, JOE COOKER UN GRAN ARTISTA EN ESTA CANCION SE NOTA AUN SU ENFERMEDAD, ESO UNA LECCION PARA TODOS AQUELLOS QUE DECIMOS A VECES ( NO SE PUEDE )

  • BRIAN MAY rules

  • British Bands and Singers are the BEST in the WORLD

  • joe is just so brilliant he is so powerful. i could sit and listen to him all day he is brilliant.

  • I only like the first part of this song honestly. When he starts yelling and grunting is gets dumb. Not the back singers, just Jim

  • @LuBu20008 His name is Joe and his yelling was actually in tune.. It takes talent to be able to yell with that voice texture and get it in tune.. not to talk of the pitch he reached aswel.

  • this guy is funny as hell

  • !!! ..fantastic song

  • Best song

  • hermosa cancion de 1969 de
