I do not think this is communism. It is common sense. For example, if you ¨save¨ some money now at the expense of rivers and other sources of drinkable water, what is going to happen in the near future? You will have to expend great sums of money paying for WATER!
We are wasting resources every day. You cannot fire a lot of people just to save 10 cents per piece in a manufacturing process... and yet most of the companies do it. It is just not ethical!
The best thing the Zeitgeist movement could do for it's message now is get rid of the word Zeitgeist, lest it forever be stigmatized by the idiocy of the first film.

@tubiejonny when scientist come up with new theories, they don't just pull them out of their ass. They conduct tests and others try to replicate them to see how things work. They gather data and come up with a solution based on that data. The data makes the decision, not the scientist. If their theory can not be sustained with testing and data, then they discard it and come with a new theory. That is how a society should be run. This is what the Venus Project proposes. Basically, common sense.

If you are poor, your most likely to steal to get what you need. If that person was provided for, and given a place to stay, food for them and his/her family, clothing, transportation, materials they need.......why would they steal? Crime is produced by our current system, its not the people. People are products of their environment.

@tubiejonny when scientist come up with new theories, they don't just pull them out of their ass. They conduct tests and others try to replicate them to see how things work. They gather data and come up with a solution based on that data. The data makes the decision, not the scientist. If their theory can not be sustained with testing and data, then they discard it and come with a new theory. That is how a society should be run. This is what the Venus Project proposes. Basically, common sense.

Nobody makes decisions, the data does. Scarcity of resources is the major contributor to crime. If you are poor, your most likely to steal to get what you need. If that person was provided for, and given a place to stay, food for them and his/her family, clothing, transportation, materials they need.......why would they steal? Crime is produced by our current system, its not the people. People are products of their environment.

This film nor any of it's predecessors have proved nothing more than someones "opinion" this film is intended to prey on Americans or Societies paranoia and insecurity.

@DrunkBob1000 Zeitgeist is the single most well-referenced documentary in existence. To disagree with the film is to disagree with hundreds of cited sources. To call genuine and important concerns "paranoia" is just delusional. To dismiss with name-calling rather than think logically is what's sad.
Name-calling and stereotyping has never convinced anyone otherwise.
