Because he start go to lose it. He got the money from the Philosophers' Legacy. to make his Patriots which turn into a nightmare. I think thats how.

@lanaface2011 Big Boss (naked snake in mgs3) and Zero each wanted to create an ideal world of their own because of The Boss' will, but they misinterpreted her vision.

as a result, it lead to the creation of the patriots with the money obtained from the philosophers legacy by zero. big boss on the other hand created outer haven with the money obtained from Gene in PO

technically, zero wasnt "bad", he just lost control of the system he created which no longer needed him to run.

i havent played subsistence. what is the sifference between snake eater and subsistence?

a few things: first and foremost, subsistence has a full 3d view camera as opposed to the fixed one in snake eater.

Another big thing is it had a cinematic theater allowing to view all the cutscenes in the game and a secret one with blooper cutscenes

Also it was the ability to replay all the bosses at once in a boss endurance mode

It also had a whole new Snake vs Monkey minigame.

And it has the full Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake from the MSX game

There was also an online mode, but the servers are now overtaken by MGS4

yea. the regular MGS3 had some type as well, but subsistence has a more in depth one i think
