  • Try a newtons craddle that has the end balls leaning on the center ones. The dynamics will change. Try it with just 3 balls and see if one leaves while the other 2 shift to the center of mass.

  • @g11690102 Yes that's true but I'm not sure what your point is. Both side magnets are

    pushing on the center magnet. When I lift one side the three magnets are no longer

    balanced. The center and right magnets push away from each other causing them to

    move.

  • However you use the energy of the middle magnet, if there was more energy from it than what would be required to keep the outer magnets moving then whatever that difference was could be used for anything. I would like to know if you've expanded your model since this video was made.

  • @7F0X7 I am still experimenting with the original device. I am trying the best way to

    extract energy from the swinging magnets while allowing them to swing as long as

    possible.

  • It may have to do with where the fulcrum is located in each model. It's probably just a magnetic version of leverage. You have to make sure the one you're lifting is in the exact same positions in the different models and that you are not causing more distance traveled merely by adding more work. If there's more leverage in the last model then that can confuse you.

  • @MillionthUsername My device does use a type of magnetic leverage but that is not a

    bad thing. My lifting the first magnetic pendulum does add work to the system but I

    insist I am getting much more work out of the movement of the three magnets than I put in.

  • @flowerbower My device is not an example of "energy from nowhere." Instead it is

    an example of synergy - the interaction of three magnetic fields produces an effect

    greater than a single field.

  • Just attach a small rod magnet halfway up the center pendulum arm and make it pass through the center of a coil as it swings back & fourth. Like in a soleniod. Then you will have created a current. The question is will that energy be greater than the energy used to start the process? The laws of physics say no, but laws are made to be broken.

  • @theuspatriot3000 You have a good practical idea. The purpose of this video is more theoritical. It shows

    how I use energy (muscle energy) to lift one pendulum a certain distance but in return this moves three

    pendulums a greater total distance. This seems like free energy to me. There are various practical ways

    useful energy could be captured from this process.

  • @ToemanX If you can make it run on it's own power then you have proven it is free energy. If there is any energy left over. Equillibrium is not good enough to overcome the losses of transfering electrical energy to mechanical and back again. Many people have been trying for many years to create a perpetual machine and have failed. Now with these new rare earth magnets it seems possible because of their enormous stregnth. But so far I have not seen one work. The laws of physics forbid it.

  • @ToemanX I envision a mile long track of magnets in a v-gate configuration. A small car containing a magnet at one end would only reqire a small push to get it started on a mile-long lorney thereby creating free energy, but would the energy gained be more then it took to make the magnets?

  • @theuspatriot3000 How cost effective a device is, is an important point. If you could make your track circular

    so that the car went around many times I think the device would then be cost effective.

  • @ToemanX Yes if it worked with a linear configuration, it would work in a closed circle. It could also be turned into a magnetic generator. Similar to the mag-lev trains with a permanent magnet replacing the current electro-magnets on the train cars. I''ve seen Howard Johnson's rail assembly of magnets push another magnet several feet so it should be possible. But back to your invention, to prove you're geting more enrgy than what u put in u have close the system & have it run on it's own power.

    magnetic-field, or do you mean you can literally see the magnetic-field? (2) I used a Sony PD150 video camera.

    expended by the center swinging pendulum, so there is a net free energy gain.

  • @ToemanX dude, that's utterly obvious bullshit! the energy you put into the system is the height of the first pendulum plus the "spring" energy of the bent metal sheet plus the magnetic field energy difference (negligible). During the motion, add also kinetic energy. Now calculate the total energy (3 kinds of potential energy + kinetic energy) for every pendulum at any instance of time and you will see that it's always less than in the beginning due to friction. There's no energy gain!

  • @novgorod000 You state it yourself there are 3 kinds of potential energy involved: (1)gravity, (2)metal spring tension (3)and magnetic field compression. However, my muscles only have to use energy to act against

    the first two potential energies. The third type magnetic field compression (and expansion) is the free energy

    as I used no energy to activate it.

    The equation of motion here has 3 force terms and if you solve it (e.g. for the Lagrangian coordinates and momenta), you will easily see how the energy is transferred from potential and tensile energy, via kinetic energy into magnetic field energy and back again with a non-trivial coupling. The energy is always conserved (if you neglect friction)...

  • @novgorod000 I can not tell if you are being sarcastic or if you are just ignorant of physics. An object at a height has gravitational potentional energy. When the object begins to fall its' kinetic energy suddenly - out of nowhere -

    appears. An object at rest has potentional energy. An object in motion has kinetic energy.

  • @ToemanX i feel the need to point this out. the term "potentional energy" is a generic term. and by the name it self is not energy. but in the case you said of lifting an object, the correct term is that object now has "potentional kinetic energy" the same way if you charge a leyden jar, it will have "potentional pos or neg static energy" but when released it "suddenly" becomes a DC current. its all still the same energy, its just at rest or stored.

    The 200 inches is the total distance covered by all the swings. It is like a person pacing back and forth.

    If a person walks ten feet and turns around and walks back the same ten feet, the total distance covered is

    twenty feet.

  • At the bottom of the swing, the height difference is at its lowest. The vertical inches are minimal, and even out anyway.

    The middle pendulum was moved when the left one was raised. It was moved to a balance position with the right pendulum, after which the left one was brought in to create the chaotic movements. With the left one not being supported by the hand anymore, the middle and right one again assume balance with the left one as third member.

    The amount of in traveled is in fact zero.

  • @Cloxxki I do not follow your logic. I used energy to raise the left weight three inches vertically and when

    dropped it caused the middle weight (same mass) to move horizontally a distance of 200 inches (in a back

    and forth way). You think the movement of the middle weight is invalid because it moves horizontally or because

    it swings back and forth or what? I do not understand.
