The current Fusion is priced so well. I saw a top sport trim, with AWD, and the top package priced at only 32k, which is only $2k more than my budget. I can't find anything else like it, ESPECIALLY WITH AWD!!!

Seeing the '13 Fusion makes me glad I bought my '11. I like the '10 and '11 because it really stands out. This '13 like (just another) car. And how did they manage to downgrade the power on the 2.5?

those who bitch about similarities to others brand`s styling features, in this case the aston martin grille, you need to pay close attention to actualy shapes before you start talking bandwagon bash. you can clearly see the shape of the new fusion grille to be on earlier models only placed below, as the lower grille! this deserves the name fusion since it actually fuses the ford kinetic design language with that of the more traditional american design features of the brand.

We'll see how well this car actually is. They said the same thing about the 2012 Focus and I personally own that car and it is WITHOUT A DOUBT the WORST car i've ever owned. I've had it into the dealership 20 times since owning it (8 months) all for the same rattle issue and Ford refuses to replace the car or drive it for a week to verify the noises (even though they've verified them in the past). Ford really let me down and based on how i've been treated I'll never be a another Ford owner.

Right when I was warming up to the 3 bar theme. At least get rid of the horizontal lines that's what's sealing it as an Aston Martin rip. The grille looks damn good here don't get me wrong but a rip is a rip.

Every car on the market today has similarities to others. It is inevitable. There are only so many design patterns that people are comfortable with and most are destined to be repeated. This car is no exception to that rule. So everyone, STFU.

It seems like everyone I've talked love this car except for this people in this video bitching about the grille. If you go to just about any automaker, you could point out something that looks like it was stolen from someone else. Like the Sonata Hybrid looks similar to an XKR, the Accord concept looking like a Kia Forte, and the Forte in turn looks like a previous generation Civic, the Hyundai Genises looks like a knock off Mercedes etc. You guys need to get over it.

Ford was the first with the rear design of the Fusion. Just look at the current Mondeo. It had that design way before the Kia Optima or Hyundai Sonata did
Most haters should just get over that grille. It looks great even if it vaguely resembles an Aston Martin grille. I won't argue with you for a front grille on a car that looks more original elsewhere (exluding the aforementioned grille) than some other vehicles which are way more rip offs from one or several cars. It has Mitsubishi headlights, and an Aston Martin grill, for me its gonna take some getting used to, and seems like they need to put out a performance sedan, either for Ford, or Lincoln, that cranks out at least 300hp, and 270-300lb ft torque to compete with BMW, AUDI, MERCEDES, and CADILAC. Im not hate'n its just Ford can do alot better on performance sedans.

I like Ford, but I'll need to agree with the people calling it a copy of Aston's front. Ford sold that brand, they don't own it. If they're going to use it for their cars, they're going to get crap from people because it makes them look like they have no fresh thinking. BTW I also see some Jaguar XF in this design.

If I was Ford and I paid billions for a car company and they lost me money I would get even with'em, Aston Martin is wasting those good looks on a car nobody can afford, and Ford has taken the best design elements from several carmakers and combined them into a very attractive car, the grille looks similar to a car company they owned, Fords cabin tech is tops and so is their fuel efficiency, you know the old saying, don't knock it till you've tried it, genius.
i think ford is making a mistake trying to sell this car as mondeo in europe. this car has a shape that is geared towards style rather than practicality. europeans are tall and won't really enjoy that nissan altima like sloping roof in the back.
from looking at it for just a few seconds i can already see they took design cues for the front facia from aston martin and mitsubishi, for the headlights from mitsubishi and bmw, and for the silhouette and tail lights from audi. no creativity whatsoever - pure imitation. but at least it looks well executed.

The chevy cruze has a "design line" that looks "very german". What does "very german" mean? An extra $20-40K that comes with more powerful engine, better interior and the BADGE of course to show everyone. And not always better exterior styling. Maybe BMW should sue Chevy! Just on styling alone, I'm very impressed. Looks very good. They took some cues from Aston but damn thats not a bad thing. Compared with the Concept Accord and New Camry this would be my pick if asked which one looks best. Fords quality rep is getting better some look out Honda and Toyota. Competition is good for us consumers.
My top 3 (around $25K) sedan cars for exterior looks.... 1. Ford Fusion... 2. Hyundai Sonata... 3. Nissan Altima... (I don't like toyota camry, volkswagen passat and honda accord exterior looks). And comparing the interior, I think Nissan Altima has the best interior but the Ford Fusion and Hyundai Sonata are both nice as well and are tied 2nd.

Man I love this car! I think I may like it more than the Taurus, which if you knew me, you'd be asking if I were alright lol. I've loved the Taurus all my life, but this is amazing. Can you say hello to the new best selling car in America? I think yes! The MKZ looks great too. If the MKZ isn't built in Michigan, the Fusion could very well be the car that replaces my Taurus.

We'll see how well this car actually is. They said the same thing about the 2012 Focus and I personally own that car and it is WITHOUT A DOUBT the WORST car i've ever owned. I've had it into the dealership 20 times since owning it (8 months) all for the same rattle issue and Ford refuses to replace the car or drive it for a week to verify the noises (even though they've verified them in the past). Ford really let me down and based on how i've been treated I'll never be a another Ford owner.

It seems like everyone I've talked love this car except for this people in this video bitching about the grille. If you go to just about any automaker, you could point out something that looks like it was stolen from someone else. Like the Sonata Hybrid looks similar to an XKR, the Accord concept looking like a Kia Forte, and the Forte in turn looks like a previous generation Civic, the Hyundai Genises looks like a knock off Mercedes etc. You guys need to get over it.

Most haters should just get over that grille. It looks great even if it vaguely resembles an Aston Martin grille. That doesn't mean this is just a rip off, actually every car maker has its rights to design their cars the way they want and I know we have to be original but I've seen lots of cars which are more rip offs from other cars than this car is from an Aston Martin. I won't argue with you for a front grille on a car that looks more original elsewhere (exluding the aforementioned grille) than some other vehicles which are way more rip offs from one or several cars. It has Mitsubishi headlights, and an Aston Martin grill, for me its gonna take some getting used to, and seems like they need to put out a performance sedan, either for Ford, or Lincoln, that cranks out at least 300hp, and 270-300lb ft torque to compete with BMW, AUDI, MERCEDES, and CADILAC. Im not hate'n its just Ford can do alot better on performance sedans.

I like Ford, but I'll need to agree with the people calling it a copy of Aston's front. Ford sold that brand, they don't own it. The chevy cruze has a "design line" that looks "very german". What does "very german" mean? An extra $20-40K that comes with more powerful engine, better interior and the BADGE of course to show everyone. And not always better exterior styling. Maybe BMW should sue Chevy! It sounds like any american car that dares try to improve their styling is trying to be "german" (only good looking cars around?!) Just on styling alone, I'm very impressed. Looks very good. They took some cues from Aston but damn thats not a bad thing. Compared with the Concept Accord and New Camry this would be my pick if asked which one looks best. Fords quality rep is getting better some look out Honda and Toyota.
