@MrShredhell You can vary with the volume knob an how strong he hits the strings plus a pedal to change to distortion. Its the combination so for example the guitar sounds clean if you hit the strings at normal strenght but if you hit them harder they overdrive a little etc.

if you look closely in the video, you can make out the silver-ish seymor duncan logo on the pickups. im not a 100 % sure about the other guitars, but according to espguitars japan webpage his sig strats have the STK-S4 in all except for the candy apple red one, it has STK-S1, but yes he must have guitars with yjm/hs-3 as well since he is influenced greatly by Yngwie, Cheers!

For me, it looks like alternate picking, but he could be using both. I would advice you to learn it alternate, if you wanna learn it. I made the mistake to skip the technique of my right hand, so im very fast with my left but extremly wweak with my right. Dont do that, practice alternate

to answer that question he does both, when he does those fast one string sections he's alternate but when he moves down the strings he uses economy. hope that helps.

He does not do both, he ONLY uses economy picking because the technique "economy picking" is in fact a combination, a hybrid of sweeping(when going down or up the strings) and alternate picking(on one string).

He uses a technique described as 'circular picking'. Most of his pick movements come from his thumb and first finger rather than the wrist, which is why his hand doesn't move so much. In addition, I think he couples that style of picking with economy picking, but I'm pretty sure that he could use either economy or alternate picking, depending on what type of tone he wants.

it's a strat copy by esp i'm well aware of what guitar it is. but you cannot get that guitar in the US unless you import one from japan, but if you buy a Fender strat and put the pickups i stated previously in it and run through a jcm800 with delay, a tube screamer, and a noise gate, your tone will sound just like his. his tone is extremely similar to yngwies.
