Adobe After Effects is extremely complicated and even professionals can't get their project done right away. You guys have no idea how long it actually takes to create an intro. For all you know, that might be even shorter than it usually takes. By the way, the intro is very cool, even thought it isn't exactly scary. :D

Yes I do I edit videos in my spare time. I'm no expert but i know how to use After Effects and the main filters in it (which is mostly what this intro is made of). I'm certainly not denying that it's a stunning intro, I just thought 8 hours sounded a bit exaggerative to me. I can understand why it MIGHT take up to 8 hours, but I could definitely imagine somebody creating a similar effect in much less time (still a few hours though). =]
