so all you really showed us how to do is insert text media and make it green color. And use a single different layer mode that you don't even understand.

Dodge means to make things lighter by adding the rgb values of the added content to the rgb values of the background. That makes things lighter. Hence it becomes very green.

You made the video by 'messing around'... no sh8.

You can make one on Microsoft Excel and record it. Just go into Excel, turn all the cells black with green text, then put this formula into every cell:

=CHOOSE(0,1,"",RANDBETWEEN(1,3­))

Highlight a few cells, type the formula into one of the cells and press Ctrl+Enter to copy the formula. Then hold F9 and you have a matrix effect which generates 0's and 1's randomly. It doesn't compare to the real thing, but it's a good match!

thats because you probably have it as an AVI file instead of a compatible video format for sony vegas, so what u have to do is if you have windows movie maker, upload it in that program and render it as a WMV file. then after you've done that, you should be able to use the video....

The idea is to create this effect WITHOUT downloading any clip from The Matrix. You should have done it using After Effects because the title of the video misguides viewers. But I can't blame you since Vegas wasn't designed for these effects. 4/5
