The original is always best.....Its nice to hear others update them..Pointer Sisters were also GREAT!! Can't compare......or you shouldn't. I remember this as a kid....

Awesome. Must admit though I like the Pointer Sister's version better.Maybe it's 'cause I heard it first, or could be the driving bass or just the raucous wild singin' that those girls do, it's like a party in your living room! Love her growl though. And she was the first (I think). But there's is still a partyin' good time!

There was another version of this with much grittier vocal delivery. It also had a fantastic sax break right in the middle of the song. This one sounds like another version of this song she might have recorded later. Not as good as her earlier version. Sorry.
