Evolution is a fact of our existence it is one of the most supported theories in the whole of silence and stood the test of 150 years and only got stronger and more confirmed, EVERY test it has ever been subjected to it has passed with flying colors and its principals are even used in engineering and have been successfully for decades.

Kent does not debate evolution because he does not know what it is, he just debates moronic arguments HE claims evolution says that bear no resemblance to what evolution actually says.

Actually i am mistaken he KNOWS he is lying about what evolution actually says because he has been shown the facts multiple times, what he is doing is putting on a snake oil show for uneducated vulnerable people so he can take their money.

I agree that Kent is correct in saying the earth is approx 6k years old, but here in this video we can see him becoming proud in a way that is sinful, which is disheartening for sure (and pride sure do cometh before the fall)

BTW, whats interesting in this debate, is that the speed of light is no longer constant =)

@MrRokaroo all the different method to calculate the speed of light 12 or more, agree to the 10 decimal after zero to its speed, there is no evidence at ALL for it to be not constant,

the only experiment your talking about is about a non vaccum experiment, and it isnt relevant to the present question,

you should go read it, and anyway we dont need to play with the speed of light to proove the earth isnt 6000 years old

I think the most saddening thing is that Kent Hovind, upon finding that Hugh Ross believes differently than himself, accuses him of being a heretic. Apparently Orthodoxy = being a young-earth baptist Christian, like Kent, according to Kent. Deviation from this position is labeled heresy. I guess it's just Kent and everyone else who attends his church that has all the right beliefs about God, before God? I think this is incredibly dangerous, unloving, and ungodly.

@Grambo4 I disagree with your comment claiming kent uphold only his beliefs and believes everyone else is wrong or a heretic. Kent position is clear. He endorses what what the bible teaches. His information is biblically correct and he don't deviate from it by placing his own theoretical beliefs or interpretation before the infallible word of God. People become so educated that they forget their knowledge is finite and embraces what science teache as opppose to what the word of God proclaim.

When ever you don't believe the word of God or you place your trust in the knowledge and frailty of man you surrender your authority to that which you have placed ruler over you. Dear brother, I made no confession of what my beliefs concerning the age of the earth or the Word of God were. I merely remarked that Kent's attiutude is wrong. I also think it is wrong of you to assume that I am under the devil's influence merely because I questioned Dr. Hovind's approach to this subject matter. You have also lumped me wholly with Hugh Ross's camp, without ever hearing me say anything about his beliefs. You have judged quickly and harshly.

Tree rings go back 13,000 years unbroken proving Kent is wrong. The earth is old and there was no global flood 4400 years ago. That was easy.
