Mahalo Kimo, Flying over Waikiki and the wall does bring back great memories of 1962 -1968 when we all used hang out at the wall. My brothers and sisters and friends used to hang around Waikiki and the wall because my mother worked at a place called Duke’s. Duke’s was owned by the late Duke Kahanamoku and in fact my mother and Don Hoe were hired the same day by Duke and became very close friends.
I can still remember Duke driving his white Rolls Royce down Kalakaua when it was 2 way and not one way traffic. Thank you for posting this video KIMO! – This is Homesick for Waikiki and the wall -- Michael
