  • Your videos are SO awesome. You've got such great tips. Thanks :)

  • oh i love you im so jealous,

how many times did you have to practise this to get it right?

also do you think you have to have certain shape eyes to pull this off?

  • PS - Also - my bobbi brown liner dried up too - but i added a small drop of Johnsons baby oil and mixed it in with a needle. (I had about half the pot left - so you may need more or less oil depending on how much there is left... )If you leave it overnight its good as new in the morning and still sets/dries fine. Hope that helps!

  • Did you just follow the contour of your crease?

  • Bravo ! Indeed, it has been fun and fll of developing ideas .too bad those products are not found in all the countries

  • Very Classy!

  • Your lips look SO much bigger and fuller with that liner and color! I don't even think botox could give such a convincing effect!

  • Nicola did this on me on Monday in Illamasqua in London ^_^ She made our holiday in ..cant wait til you guys come to the counter in Dublin!

  • omg I am SOOOOOO trying this

  • she is soooo high fashion!

  • amazing.

  • i love your eyeliner shape :)

  • Love it!

  • Very nice!

  • I love it, thank you SO much! Don't think I would have a chance to make it work, but I'm gonna try!

  • lurve it! =) keep up!

  • Your super pretty, and you make these looks look so good! Great vids. :)

  • I LOVE watching your videos. Very insightful with technique and product!

  • AMAZING!

  • Look at my skin before I put any foundation on. I am more yellow before the foundation.

  • OMG! you're absolutely technically amazing!! I totally love this look!!!

  • OMG, I love that look, but I don't think it would work on my non-arched eyebrows. Mine are almost straight across and very sparse. That look is fantastic on you. I may try it out just for kicks. Beautiful!

BTW, I'm so glad you chose Entry #6 for the contest. So editorial and unique!

    ~M

  • my mum was watching your vids with me, she said she wants you to do a video on how to do makeup (especially eye make up) for "Old ladies with baggy eyes"

also, she intends no offense, but noticed with your eye brows, and neck that you may want to get your thyroid checked. she had issues with hers and likes to help people with it when she thinks she can!

much love and your videos are WONDERFUL! Thank you for all the wonderful tips!

  • i see wat u mean with the thyroid i have exactlythe same thing

  • I hope sam doesn't think I'm mean! XD Just trying to help!

  • thank you

  • wow just brilliant!!

  • do you put the second line above your crease or on it?

  • when youre saying the names of the foundation would you please say it clear especially for some one that dont know the names

  • It's on the sidebar.

  • that is the hardest make up tutorial. thankx for sharing with us.

    Love

    Negin

  • WHERE CAN I FIND THISNo.7 illuminator ..DO SHOPPERS DRUGS MART HAVE IT???

  • Almost like... exaggerated 60's Edie Sedgwick kinda like.

  • Those eyes are stunning. x

  • Once again---gorgeous!!!! You are so lovely & I am sooooo happy that you share yourself with us! Very inspiring & enlightening!!! XOXO;)

  • o wow amazing!!

  • the lips ruined it for me.

  • Its soo simple yet soo freakin amazin! Why didn't I subscribe to you earlier? Gosh..ur awesome!

  • simple yet stunning...looks like you have 4 eyes almost

  • Wow!

  • absolutely beautiful!

  • WOOOOW!!! AMAZING!!! You're wonderfuL!!!

  • I did this for a shoot a few months ago, and it is very challenging to get it even!! Great tut, well done (as always...) !!

    :-D

  • you have mad makeup skills!

  • incredibly wonderful!!!

  • wonderful! just wonderful!

  • hi, what color and brand of nail enamel are you wearing? i like a lot the color,

  • been trying to achieve this look for years! finally i'm gonna give it a go, thank you so much for the tip on the angles of the eye flicks - having uneven eyes means i can barely get it right!

  • lol , god im scared, im scarrreddd (L)

  • just the cat eye liner alone looks fabulous on you.

  • I have those earrings :) vivienne westwood?

  • i think it just did.

  • lovee your hair.

  • ughhh i WISH i could do this look. but im asian -_____-

  • Why not try it anyway? if you don't like it, it washes off, it's not plastic surgery.... :)

I think people limit themselves far too much, make-up's not an exact science, just have fun playing around with it!

  • haha worddd

  • I'm not Asian, but I have almond-shaped eyes and hardly any eyelid...so I empathise!

  • OOOOMMMMMGGG , i love the EYES !!

    this is fantastic !

  • I love your vids! I don't usually do much w/ my eyes, but they are very educational anyway. I DO wear lipstick, and I loved the lip look in this vid! Hey, can we get Illamasqua (sorry if the spelling's wrong) here in the US?

  • You can order it online just now, but I know that it's officially going to be in the US pretty soon!

  • I did this look tonight. It's sure is hard. I managed to do symmetrical lines but it's far from being as good as yours. I used a light brown pencil first as a guide, then applied the liquid eyeliner. It still looked overdone =(

Do I have to draw the line right in the crease or above it? Think mine was too high...

  • What do you use in terms of skin care, I can never get mine so smooth and it makes a difference to how the foundation looks. Any tips would be brilliant.

    Great tutorial =)

  • Have you ever used MAC strobe lotion or liquid?? It seems like you would like it as a skin illuminator. IT mixes well with tinted moisturizer also :)

  • Infact, it is how it is supposed to be pronounced worldwide.

  • Moschino? absolutely! :)

most Americans mispronounce "bruschetta" too.. and misspell "prosciutto".... all that yummy stuff! :)

  • yes! you did pronounce it correctly!!!

  • lol you pronounced Moschino wrong =P

  • I didn't. That is how it is pronounced.

  • Yes, definately! (:

  • Everytime I watch this, I'm just mesmorized by the skills you have-your liner looks perfect! And your skin is flawless!

  • This look is amazing!! You are a genius!

  • your videos are just awesome... what you guys do really impresses me.

  • Wow, I like this look! great tutorial. Btw, don't you think this trend looks suspiciously similar to one of Leigh Bowery's iconic looks? LOL. They just don't make 'em like they used to!

  • I actually saw photos of this look and thought "I have to try it" - and now you've shown us how to do it, I will give it a try. I'm not a makeup artist, I just love wearing creative makeup, and it'll probably take me hours to get my liner straight, but hey! Thanks for your videos Sam and Nic!!!

  • Hi Sam, this one is brilliant!! i just did one for my portfolio pretty similar last month and I loved it!

Thanks for being such an inspiration! xm

  • hey girl...just got the sephora giftcard in the mail the other day....so expect a new haul from me soon. don't forget youtube is giving out the free $500 dollar giftcard through the video below...<3

    /watch?v=_OlBFc_0NlY

  • You have AMAZING skin!

  • love all your videos

  • me too!! i only watch you now and i ve got over 70 subscriptions lolz... :)

  • Wow! Gorgeous!

  • Beautiful. This look really shows your talent

  • Not useful AT ALL. And those are my favorites. :)

(Ok still useful. Just to watch what you do technically.)

  • the made-up eyes look like something from Cats The Musical. Love it!

  • this one is AMAZING. My favourite tutorial with the Edie Sedgwick one

  • great video

  • very artistic and well put together! i love it! i will try it!

  • definitely very fun watching!!:))

  • Fantastic! It reminds me of trying to get my lines super straight back in the days when I used to be Goth. Siouxsie Sioux does a similar look for her promo photos for the Mantaray album.

  • How do you SEE where to put the line?

  • I think she put it on her crease

  • luv, luv, this look!

  • Always useful! Thanks.

  • gorgeous!

  • You are Nic are so exceptionally talented :)

  • What an interesting look! I'd never be able to get the liner right...I can rarely get it on the lash line let alone through the socket!

  • Absolutely loved this look!!!!! Heart, heart, heart

  • This look it's like cat/gazelle/40s luv luv luv it

  • Very cool!! You always look beautiful. It doesn't matter what kind of make up you wear!

  • love your skin

  • It's actually been very useful! :-D Love it & will be attempting this eye part soon!

  • omgosh, i adore this! :D

  • Super amazing! I love the lips. Such a great colour!

  • I love it!!!!!!

  • great video!

i'm dying to know the nailpolish colour you have on, you and nicola both wear it in your videos!

    pleeeeeeeeeease post that! thanks

  • eyeliner skiiils

  • love this look! ur skin looks flawless.

  • awesome!

  • I'm Love with this look!!!!

    And your face is gorgeous!!!!

  • love it!!! your truly amazing!!!

  • Looooooooooooove the skin in this video. Good job.

  • reminds me of the 80s "simply irresistible"

  • I think that is one of the most stunning looks I´ve seen. I just wouldn´t know when to wear it, not to work anyway but maybe for some theme nights. The upper line do you follow the crease or a little bit above it? My crease is rather deep so I´m afraid you wouldn´t see it. Anyway very inspiring video.

  • awesome Sam, thanks!!

  • Love the look :) i wll do that asmy final test in the makeup collage .... thnks for the ideaaaaa

  • Wow, you are so talented and so down to earth and knowledgable all rolled into one. You are an inspiration to all artists out there. Rock on!!!!

  • You are so goood~~

  • Love it - but can this be replicated on a heavy lid? my upper eyelid nearly cover my lower lid when my eyes are open -which sucks

    xxx

    liz

  • gosh ...please give me some lessons do u have a studio? how much per lesson plese please i wnat to know it all u guys are so greaaaaaat .

  • WOW, your first flick was Dead on! Thats amazing! Great video :)

  • Very cool look!

  • Brilliant.

  • I would love it if you or your sister did a skin care video. You both have fantastic skin, and I'd love to know how you take care of it. :)

  • Wow, this looks amazing! Great job and keep the fantastic vids coming! =)

  • Speechless...absolute artist!

  • what kind of foundation did you use? im using clinique but it doesnt unify the skin :(

  • she's using RMK creamy foundation. Read the description box.

  • Oh, phew, one less step to do if I attempt this. I have high, prominent cheekbones that are a trademark of my German ancestry. It's a pain to watch others get these beautiful cheek looks with less prominent bone structure and my prominent cheekbones get in the way of that. I get asked all the time how I contour my face and I say, "Contour? I don't do that nor do I know how."

I think everyone has one eye that a little larger/smaller/higher/lower/whatever than the other. Beautiful look!

  • definitely gotta try this out!

  • You did an amazing job. I think the benefit product you used (Shallow) is an eyeshadow though? Looked great on your cheeks!

  • Gorgeous!

  • The entire look is cool, but I must get a hold of that illuminator. I hope I can find it.

  • I really like the look, it definetly enjoyble!your skin is perfect.

  • this was beautiful! i'm going to attempt this look for some very creative photos.

  • simply stunning!

  • just responding to pixiwoo's comment, about not having a symmetrical face. your still gorgeous though, i could never tell.

  • everything you do is both fun and useful :) this is neat and I'm sure it was really hard to do.

  • That is wicked cool. I want that No.7 Illuminator now...I am a total sucker for highlighters.

  • Another beautiful tutorial!

i won't even try to do this look because i was born w/ 2 left hands, hehehe, sad!

  • i love that lip color on you! =]

  • You and ur sister really need to come to America!!!!! I would def come to one ur make-up classes

  • i think your magnificent with liquid liner i swear your my favorite!

  • i love your face

  • Your amazing...I love all of your tutorials. THank you!!

  • Thank you so much! I love it when you share these kinds of videos! This is a look I have also been seeing everywhere and bin wanting to repeat , Thank you for showing us the steps! Fantastic!

  • is it her in all the videos.... bc i swear she one day has long hair and the next short hair but it could just be extensions but its still different....

  • pixiwoo is actually 2 different makeup artists: Samantha and Nicola. They share the same account. This is Samantha. Nicola has the short hair.

  • that makes soooo much more sense thank you so much :)

  • nope, they are sisters ;)

    nic has short hair

if you look at the carefully they actually look very different

  • no, her AND her sister do vids

  • You shoud do another video with your daughter in it... Shes soo cute..

  • this is FIERCE.

i wish i was cool enough to pull this off.

  • Sam-- one of your tags is "fashioface" instead of "fashionface"

  • no 7 illiuminator, i git the first one wrong

  • no 7 inuminator

  • you are the fanastic, your skills are out of this world, i just wish i could draw in a line , that does not look like a wobby road. well done sam, you have a gold star from me.

  • hello can someone tell me what is the name of the cream she use on her face at the end of the video.....it's in a tube and it has a brush on the end...where can i buy it from... help she it's number 7 skin something...

  • No.7 illuminator it says on the description box

i have nooo idea where to get it though

  • No7 is by Boots. I think you can get it in any drugstore in the UK. In the US you can find it at Target.

  • thank you but mi in Canada...i would love to have this #7

  • No.7 is sold in Canada at Shoppers Drug Mart

    its called Boots - No.7

    :)

  • Wow, this definetely does look challenging but I want to try it out.

I have a question: When putting on my eye makeup my eyes seems to water in the inner corner area and it makes my makeup from there come off so I have to reapply it in the corners. (Mostly have this prob on my right eye) Is there anything I can do?

  • if U found this hard to do...then it will definitely be impossible 4 me to do lol! but looks wkd! :)

  • beautiful makeup.. :)

  • it's definitely been fun...amazing!

  • This looks nice on you:)

  • I love your skin! I envy you!

  • Oh god! I am so sorry! I didn't mean to 'thumb's down' you! LOL..

But yes, I agree totally! Face swap?

  • this is one of my favourite looks of all time!

thanks , you did so well!

    x

  • good job ;)

  • me ha gustado mucho este look... es muy original y elegante :)

  • does this eyeliner (the upper portion - nearer to the brow bone) mimic the eyeliner that you did in the Edie Sedgwick vid?

  • thats so weirdd

ive been so into this look lately and i wantedto know how to do it!1

    thanks

  • good job ;)

  • BRILLIANT!!!

  • Could you please do a Gucci A/W 09/10 please? as it was kind of 80's (I think) and i know that 80's was big on the catwalk.
