@nrones it's a kind of "emergency ropeway", you can rescue passengers out of the chair.

@Tribal6666 oh cool.. but it doesn"t go like all the lenghth of the chairlift, so it can"t rescue all passengers... wonder why it isn"t used on all chairlifts xD

@nrones @nrones You only need this rescue ropeway where this chairlift runns though rough terrain. You can't abseil (i hope it's the correct word) passengers into a avalanche slope: in this case you need this second ropeway.
