The main idea of these "only" runs was that I was allowed to have only 1 weapon in my inventory (and NOT being restricted to use it all the time), note that eggs don't count as weapons (I sometimes use them for faster running). Therefor, I couldn't buy the Striker and make use of the Ditman glitch.

Wait, you only have one costume, yet you beat the game once and now doing pro mode, one costume unlocked, then to unlock the handcannon you have to get 5 stars on each map, which automatically unlocks the second costume, but you only have one costume???

What are you talking about? The Gamecube version only features 1 costume in total (RPD vest and Ashley's popstar outfit), no matter what you do.

Eh, because I upgraded it to its max? It's true that the scratch HC costs nothing, but as soon as you put money into it, you will get half of it back when you sell a weapon.

Cheats, but trust me, if you unlock it with cheats, you miss a hell lot of fun. Mercenaries really owns once you got all the tricks down. ^_^

1.: Depends on the version you have.

Either you unlock it by achieving a 5 star rank on every stage with every character in Mercenaries, or it is unlocked right after beating the Main Game once (for the Cut version).

Second: There are 2 suits for Leon, the PRG vest is unlocked after beating the main game once, the second one (not included in any GC version) is unlocked by beating Separate Ways once.

jcdroolsdabora, for hunk just use a single bullet on most of the hard bosses such as the farm and snap their necks, for harder bosses such as the chainsaw dude in waterworld, a.k.a mr. sunshine, pop a grenade,for leon same in water world and in the other places,just use your shotgun like crazy, for ada her rifle is a 1-hit-kill so use that in all lvls(trust me you'll get enough ammo) do that while collecting timers and bonus kill timers and your set =)

Are you only using the GC controller in this while using the Wii remote on the Red9 vids? Why so?

I own all three versions, this one is the GC one, which means I play with a controller, though it's not the GC one ;-)

I bought an adapter for my PS2-controllers, so now I always play GC-games with my PS2 controllers.

The Red9-vids are made with the Wii version, and since every "only"run is way easier (through easy aiming) on the Wii, I always think which version to play before starting a new, recorded run. The handcannon run was made on the GC, because I had way more saving space on my MemC.
