I think this is all done with time lapse photography. This is an impossible number of vehicles in the amount of time that Mr. Winstead has claimed. Very Very suspect.
Agreed with the statement above. all of them except for bus number 2, waited for a break in traffic or for cars to stop so they could go. Thats what they're supposed to do.
Stop being so concerned about such nonsense. More then obviously there was a reason for that many buses. That and all the other drivers waited to go when the light was changing or when the opportunity permitted to make their lefts. Once you have your CDL and drive a bus, then you can start criticizing when or where you should or shouldn't make certain turns.
The only problem I can honestly see with it is the second bus driver tried to stay with the lead driver and did not look at oncoming traffic. Otherwise, what does it honestly matter if 5 buses made left turns in under 4 minutes or 20 seconds or two hours. They are trained drivers and know how to drive larger vehicles better then any other citizen.

well... kids do have to get to school.. i dont see why someone would wait an extended time just because the driver in front of them turned already
