People, if you don't agree with him, then do not turn to violent and simplistic abuse. Liberal democracy is underpinned by disparate political discourse; thus, there is naturally going to be a political spectrum; left, centre and right. Each worldview has it's own positive and negative merits; it is only via discourse, mediation and negotiation that comes with democracy that can give a fair outcome. Fascinating psychology. That a home schooled only child masters Conservatism is perfect. It speaks to how conservatism speaks to the id. Just think in black and white, without empathy or grasp of nuance, and you get your answers. Any self-centered child could do that with enough over confidence in their intellect. He's book smart, doesn't like to share, and insulated from the challenges of real life. Just like a rich kid. Just like a Republican.

What exactly does the government do WELL? After the Katrina response, the Gulf Spill disaster and countless other examples....why in the world would you trust them to make decisions in your own best interest? Is the answer to give these people who screw up everything they touch more power? Think about that for a second.

He showed a thorough understanding of the concepts and could quote him with no problem, while actually knowing what the quotes were about. I know for a fact he reads philosophy in his spare time, and unless one understands philosophy, there is no reason to spend time reading it. On another note, yes, he can be arrogant. However, he is undeniably brilliant.

If we are to use the definition of conservatism that this kid is professing, then the Democrats are just as conservatives as the Republicans. The Democrats' basic platform the past decade has been people based, whether it's gay rights or whether its "socialistic" bills they're trying to bring forward to help people. It's hard to be a Republican when I know that my ex-party has catered ONLY to the rich since 1980 by deregulating everything for rich businessmen and then giving THEM the tax breaks!
