  • this makes me sick in my tomach, when these white man are so bastards to give them our spiritual kingdoms.. arabs ain't better either..

  • have ya'll heard about the story of queen victoria actually being a man? victoria's secret was supposedly named after that.

  • finally someone who knows history thanks nevis6118 for the post.

  • Nana Yaa Asantewaa of the Ejisu kingdom is a great sheroe because she stood for us and defend our causes and she inspired us to continue where she left off by conquering our enemies to win our liberation fight.

Nana Yaa Asantewaa was not only courageous, but she knew to battle and overcome them without any fears because she's the greatest ever solider, queen and shereo to touch the lives of the African family.

We should visit it, Ejisu near Kumasi because of Nana Yaa Asantwaa of Ghana.

  • THE ASHANTI TRIBE!

  • Wow, when my parents told me that she was my great great great great grandma i felt so proud to be ashanti becaause being fom america i have no roots and now seeing the histor of my ancestor i am overwelmed! I went to asamang (my parents home town village) a few years ago and heard the family history.

  • @RochelleBawuah

wow you should be very proud. Why would you say you have no roots? You know exactly where you are from.

  • @RochelleBawuah then you're related to my cousin on my moms side. You played a big role in asantes survival. And what people don't know is the Asantes where the only tribe which fought to push the europeans out of Ghana during the transatlantic slave trade and ended up been slaves in the process when the british army defeated them by the help of other neibouring tribes.

  • My great grandfather was one of the 5000Asante men who went to war with Yaa Asantewa against the British in this conflict. He was from Sewia. My great grandmother was pregnant with my grandfather at the time. My great grandfather perished in this war. As a result, my granfather never knew his father. It's a great source of pride and sadness. My grandfather was Adomako, a prominent goldsmith who made some of the most sought after jewelry for the Asante and Denkyira royals. I miss Ghana.
